    Served my LDS mission in Adelaide back in '89-'91. Assigned to Pt Lincoln for a few months which was BY FAR my favorite location. Hit Whalers Way a couple of times and it was so amazing. Thank you for sharing!

    In 2002 i spent three months here doing security for channel nines production of Australian Survivor, 12 hour shifts day and night in that little cottage at the front gate , no lights or electricity . The Theakstone boys kept us in good supply of fire wood to keep us warm

    If you missed the caves you didn't walk around the rocks to the right far enough. There is many caves that are HUGE arches and absolutely breathtaking. There's some amazing rock pools in front of them too. You also missed Redbanks beach which is absolutely amazing and remote. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves, camped on top the cliff with perfect weather and no wind ANNND had a seal colony on the rocks just near our camp. I highly recommend spending a night camping at Whalers Way so you can make the most of it. It's by far the best thing to see in South Australia!

    Omg the entrance to the park is so legit and something I would totally expect from an Australian nature park! They just give you a key and set you free hahaha. I can't believe the swimming hole wasn't marked with a whale either like what?! That was the coolest spot ever and it's so neat how you climbed down to it. The cliffs are all so beautiful and mesmerizing. We saw seals on the California coast a couple years ago and didn't even know what they were until they started moving because they were just sprawled out sleeping it looked like a really big log lol 😂

      @flightofthefox-aussietrave1430  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha I know right! It was so cute.
      Yeah! It's actually really common around these parts of South Australia. There is much private property around here that sits on such beautiful parts of the coast line, and instead of the government buying it up to make into National Parks, they allow the owners to charge people a fee to come and visit! Great way to make money I reckon!
      Haha yes so true! Kierran is always the one who spots them! I can never see them!
