Even without considering the amazing works that he releases for us to enjoy, Lane 8 is already making important contributions to the world of music with his label and his seasonal releases. These are truly special times to be alive and we should all be beyond grateful to enjoy them!

Saw Lane 8 and Sultan and Shepard at Red Rocks last October. The acoustics and vibe and energy of their music was unforgettable. Agree about the cellphones, but I wish people didn't feel like they need to drink to enjoy the music (to fill the void of not having their smartphone). Everyone at the concert had a beer in their hand.

Guys every track is fire but after a few listens No Border keeps growing on me it's pretty special. Ocula is talented as fuck and that talent has extended to incorporating lyrics goddam ♥️

Understanding humans through a man made complexity built upon status, wealth and control- both physical and mind control. Our cultural alters the connections, the synapses in our brain, meaning to feel that endorphin, we start to build and feel it through physical attributes. Take music for example, rap music built upon slang, shortened words and instruments that reflect a cultural, we listen to it to feel connected and bound to thAt reality. I’m sorry but porn is another sector is this, people feel pleasure through that the more they do it, who’s in control of that? Everyone. Our society, technology has only amplified it. Meaning there’s other ways away from a false reality where biologically speaking we can be grounded to earth. A true connection with someone, sacred, safe. Not influenced by everything we see. There’s power in mind control to be free from this never ending spiral of cultural but to instead be grounded by our values and love. There’s another reality, where we truly feel connected to earths reality. Lane 8 feels peaceful because the music is euphoric and peaceful, it allows us to focus on stillness, mindfulness, nature, the instrument, rather than made made words in a cultural where you’ll never truly be happy, allows us to appreciate the things that matter. That are right in front of us. We get caught up in another reality thinking it’s the only way to make us feel connected and happy, but there’s power in control of the things we want to enjoy without it taking over our biology, brain, corruption.. before it’s too late. To have missed an entire life fly by because you were too busy drinking, being controlled by cultural restrictions telling you that that’s not allowed. To find yourself in the middle of a club with 6 strangers who you call your friends just because cultural told you it will make you happy on your birthday. To then post a photo of you with your ‘friends’ drunk at 3am for some attention, approval from people you don’t even know to hold a standard that you don’t care about. Free will is nearest impossible, but with the right intentions, there’s free will. With the right people, there’s hope.❤️
