I have a question: Why 9100xxi suddenly darks the screen, if you look at to a mobile phone screen? If you look at to a flash light or a led lamp, it doesn't dark the screen. How do you explain it?
Dogan Yilmaz your phone uses infrared tech to sense how far your face is from your phone when making calls, infrared is a form of UV and will set off the sensor
Or when a forklift trucks flashing light activates it from a long distance away with you're welding screens closed.. And the adf's buttons covering rubs through.. We'll on my 9100xx the power button.. At least with the 9100xxi the auto on should solve it..
Hi agguilar, the external grind button is located on the new silver front cover, however it can only be used with the new Speedglas 9100XXi welding lens. If you are wanting to upgrade to the 9100XXi auto-darkening lens with external grind mode, we would suggest going for the Speedglas 9100XXi lens upgrade kit (part number 500126) which will give you the new lens and front cover.
