- Is the Smittybilt 270 degree awning for you? Over the past few months I have put the awning to the test and have even pushed it to the limit on some occasions. It has held up well and has done its job.

Great video! Would of been better if you could of showed the construction and craftmanship of the product. I had the Batwing, cheap construction, broke often in high winds. OVS 270, great solid construction and beefy along with a great price and customer service. Smittybuilt wants to give me one for using my trailer for display at a big event but there is no videos of how its made. looks very similar to the OVS. Love the editing and video. Subbed
Hi nice video how did u install the awning 270 any video available I have awning 270 on smittybilt rack 2ich bar I mount pretty tight only thing sucks every time I open thing slide down fit I have to put my pole on no matter what and tight the rope any help where I don't have to put pole every time I set up ?
how good does this hold the winds at the beach?
Good review. I have my 270 awning mounted on the passenger side just because of the way that the rear door opens.
Yeah that is definitely what I wouldv'e done if the tent didn't open up on that side haha
