    an idea for next video. explanation or oppinion on power of mike tysons punches, or the techinque of his punches.
    there are a lot of videos on his defence-windshield wiper, and his strategy and style-peekaboo style,but i rarely see videos on his amazing power punches with which he knocked down a lot of his rivals during his prime.
    this is even more interesting when you see his size - because he was relatively short with short arms.

    • @juliansanderson839
      @juliansanderson839 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      His wingspan was inches longer than his height, he had proportional long arms, not short.

    Hi. I want to thank you for this amazing channel! Sorry for my bad english, you brilliant! Very informative! Nowhere else are so many information of boxing defenses. Please, think about to make tutorial how to make different hand defenses(like your video about slipping), taktical applications of this(where it must? or may be done), and i think, it will be solid boxing course. I'd buy one, and build your statue)) Please, do what you do, and God bless.

    Any chance for the same vid but for Orthodox vs. Southpaw?
    I'm currently doing this (as Orthodox fighter);
    1. (Shoulder roll) Shoulder roll/wedge block the 1 -> Bend at the waist for the 2 -> Roll left to avoid 3
    2. (High/conventional guard) Parry the 1 with my lead hand -> Bend at the waist for the 2 -> Roll left to avoid 3
    3. (High/conventional guard) Slip left to avoid the 1 -> Roll right to avoid the 2 -> Bend at the waist to avoid the 3
    Would love to know a few more if you got the goods. Great vids and channel.

    I love watching these videos you guys look flawless doing this. But I was wondering something... doesn't the perry, catch, catch leave your body exposed enough that if your opponent was fast enough they could get a body shot or even fake the last punch anticipating the catch so they make it seem like they are going for the head but instead go for the body... I don't know I was just asking I might sound crazy or unrealistic right now sorry haha

    Should a beginner train all these or few from these?

    • @snipermanbran
      @snipermanbran 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Master just a few until you get confortable, making sure you can defend every 1,2,3 thrown at you. If you plan to step up your game and fight amateur or profesional you may need to learn a few more because oponents always learn how you react to punches and then if you always use the same defense they will eventually catch you.
