Was making 40K a day selling & eventually got hemmed up by the feds & was doing 20 to life & figured out a loophole & now is home. His only reference point of any accomplishment in life is to brag about what he used to be & now he's a cab driver. I can see the conflict within him, he knows he sounds stupid & no one respects him for what he did & he doesn't even respect it, but in some odd way he has to feel good about something he's ever done, so you see that stupid smirk on his face as if he has something to be proud of by contributing into destroying lives by selling. I love him but I'm just comparing the two & relating the odd & awkward reminiscent proud moments of both men.

Suge was an evil genius, but also ambitious and drunk on power, which partly led to his downfall. Mob James was on the outskirts of DR by the time Tupac came along! He did occasional security and managed a low rider shop financed by Suge. His knowledge of the business side of DR is sketchy at best and based on his opinion, not actual facts. Reggie is more solid with the actual inner workings of DR.
      Mob James is also very biased in his hatred for Suge. Not saying some stuff isn’t true from the early DR days. But he has repeatedly said in numerous interviews that Suge would get regularly strong armed by the Piru homies and have to keep writing checks to avoid getting hurt! If that was true then why did they all listen to Suge when he went to prison and told them to return their cars? And then attempt to murder one homie who refused?! If it was like Mob James was making out, they’d have told Suge to go F himself and kept all their cars and anything else they wanted!

    At this point everything is speculation & assumptions but for those who think deeper than what is seen & known & focus in on 2Pac progression, revolutionary mindset, Black Panther upbringing & his natural born leader personality, its obvious at some point he would made moves to be his own man calling all the shots. He would have outgrown the street & gang scene & move towards uniting & building on some Black Panther community building tip, more in line with his upbringing as he matured.
    The man died at 25, right at the age when mind developing is ending & more maturity & serious outlook on life begins, he was cut down right at the starting line manhood truly begins.
    Again, all speculation, but the totality of his life from how he was raised, thoughts & ideas he shared about his outlook of the world, his consistent growth pattern, I would put my money on him eventually leaving Death Row & creating his own empire. People with a spirit & drive like his can only remain under someone even more driven to progress than they are, they'll eventually feel like they're being held back under less progressive people.

    IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW! his friends & family members confirmed that he said he was leaving on multiple occasion. got into arguments with Suge & then fired Death Row staff from handlin his business, too. Pac was loyal, but he was also a Gemini showman. he repped Death Row HEAVY cause he felt like Suge looked out for him. not cause his dream was to be a Death Row member 😂😂 he was fulfilling his obligations & was gonna move forward. like he did his whole career

    • @lightbringer3304
      @lightbringer3304 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Agreed. Gangsta Rap history clearly shows that Tupac was eventually on his way out of Death Row. Pac was a very wise soul, and he saw the writing on the wall for Death Row before he passed. Pac only joined Death Row because he had no choice, and Suge gave him that opportunity. Had Eazy-E not passed away in early 95, Eazy would've been the one bailing him out and signing him to Ruthless Records. Pac had followed Eazy's advice in breaking away from Thug Life. Unfortunately none of this happened as Eazy-E passed and Pac died a little over a year later.

    • @lightbringer3304
      @lightbringer3304 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In fact, thanks to Pac Death Row still survived the collapse a bit longer. With Dre and Snoop out the door, Death Row wasn't the same. Pac was the last of the great artists on the label. Just like Ruthless Records collapsed after Eazy's death, Death Row collapsed after Pac's assassination.

      How do you know he wasn’t interested in getting as much music out in case he lost his appeal?
      Secondly, he was on an improved contract with DR. Despite no longer being an exclusive artist with Interscope he was on 18% royalty with DR! He was only on 8% with Interscope. This was revealed after his death as his mother endeavoured to get improved terms with interscope for his music (pre DR) which was still owned and licensed by interscope.
      AOEM was by some margin his biggest selling album whilst he was alive! He was promoting DR East too. His actual love (as per one his last interviews) was acting. He was interested in setting up his label to promote other artists, whilst also starting in, and writing for films.

      @@its_rick_james_bich2575 he was actually on 3 album contract with death row , so for him to rush to do 3 albums in less than a year is pretty obvious , but no one took the time to break down that bogus contract so he couldn't have left if he wanted to , but his moves toward the end shows what his plans were , plus pac wanted to be his own boss not sit under Suge forever

      @@ddubentertainment7594 I’ve read his contact and am aware of his 3 album commitment. Im no contact lawyer, but there were no provisions in his contract to keep him past 3 albums if didn’t want to stay! He was on a 18% royalty rate with DR…as opposed to only 8% with Interscope. There were accounting issues for sure..something uncovered more after his death.
      If was going to leave DR as far as his music..why would he be promoting DR East days before his death and also be not only in Vegas with Suge, but sat next to him! Obviously long term as far as his music he may have wanted to part ways with Suge at some point, but at the time of his death there is no real evidence that’s what he wanted. This also based on Eric B’s comments which come across as genuine.

    2Pac said he was gonna start Makaveli records & sign himself to the label. He would leave DR as an artist (3-album deal done) but the label's records would be distributed by DR. Also, Pac was gonna help start DR East with Suge by recruiting talent for him. People are talking conspiracy BS and not listening to Pac or looking at his actions.

    Tupac was going to set up his label under DR. Although he was aware of the financial ramifications of having to pay another 20% to DR as apposed to being back as an exclusive artist with Interscope (there was a leaked telephone convo of Tupac discussing this).
    He also was going to concentrate more on his acting career and film producing. The music label was going to be to promote other artists, where he would obviously remain the headline act.

    Need to get Wendy day to set this shit straight. Pac was leaving death row he was shopping his own deal. He was even looking into giving people free day care or discounted day care through his platform. He was bringing the east coast and west coast through his album one nation that was recorded. Like Wendy day said pac felt he was done with them because he dropped 3 albums. But Wendy knew it didn't work like that. It's very interesting to give her interviews a listen because it was pacs plan post deathrow. Even frank Alexander admitted pac audited death row and was looking to do his own thing.

He said he wanted to do like a rocker and drop a album every 4 5 years. He was sick of rap. Not the art form but the politics. He saw alot of shady things in the industry.
