Did you see the draft day kobe 11s inspired by the hornets drafting Kobe back in '96, the outsole wasn't translucent. The traction on those looks pretty dope

how was the heel lockdown?
would the bhm kobe 11 elite have the same proformance as this shoe since there a solid rubber outsole?
I feel like this shoe has been largely slept on, probably since the elite's came out first and weren't that good performance wise. There's hardly even any performance reviews on the EM version. People are sleeping. This shoe is a great performer, and a lot of the colorways are out there for much cheaper now. For anyone who likes lows or Kobe's, this shoe is a great option. One of my all time favorites to play in, and my favorite of the last year(I played in M12, Curry 2, Lillard 2, Rose 6 PK, Hyperdunk '16, and UA Torch 4)

This was a perfect review.
Picked up this pair today, went true to size which fit great. There was a little dead space in the toe box, kobe 8 insoles fit inside, needed average wiping on a dusty court and the kobe 11 insoles are more slippery than the flyknit model. All these factors were mentioned in the video. Keep up the good work man!

I have the Kobe 9 low ems and I loved playing in them and now that I know the traction on the 11s are better I'll be picking up a pair of these for sure

I think I heard that Kobe's gonna continue to make shoes after his retirement (I could be wrong) but I'd like if he released more causal shoes in the future. Most Kobe kicks are great for balling but they aren't really visually appealing IMO (I'm not a low top fan and the highs are fugly).

I bought the Bruce Lee's, but after trying these on in store, I think these are more comfortable. Nice review
I bought the draft day color and I freaking love them! I do agree with the slipping, but I also own the red Kobe 11 insert that I could use if I end up playing in them

another great and informative video. just a little recommendation, it would be nice to see the shoe laced up and on feet ready to hoop in. some of these on feet youtube videos, have them laced up for casual wear not for the court. Great job!!
I don't review the shoe to show how they look on court. I tell you how they perform.
+Nightwing2303 I guess I was referring more to understand the fit aspect and the whole "true to size" aspect of your reviews. You might lace your shoes up differently than I do on the court and that could be a reason why I may slide in a shoe or vice a versa. I know everyone that hoops laces their shoes differently, some tie their shoes real tight others will have them loose. it was just a thought. thanks for replying.

performance wise, I like engineered mesh so much more than "flyknit." Flyknit is all for show imo
Love these, feel more comfortable compared to the elite version, but can’t go wrong with either. These run small for me, feel more narrow.

How much of a similarity is the Kobe 11 EM Low to the Kobe 9 EM? Other than traction, is it better than Kobe 9 EM? Basically could it be an replacement of the Kobe 9 EM lol. Thank you for a great reivew!

Hey Nightwing! Is the heel to toe transition better than the 9's was? Because my biggest disappointment was the clunky heel in the 9's.
Its similar, but not as clunky. Once you break them in they feel good.
Then I'm gonna cop a pair in the 'Draft day' colorway and thanks for the quick response! Keep up the good work!

Kyrie 2. It doesn't have much impact support but its traction is so good.
Nightwing, do you think the kobe 11 em's traction is durable enough to last me an entire season? Also, do you think the d rose 7 is durable enough? Im interested in both but both tractions look thin/shallow to me
I would say so, I've had mine for 2 months so far, traction is just as good, if not better since they've broken in, however, I just had to send mine back for an exchange as the upper begun tearing on the outer side of the shoe on both shoes just underneath the nike logo, but that might have been just me
