LOVE the Flight 89. Had a black/blue/white colorway back in 89-90-91-92 (I don't remember exactly what year it was when I got them) but I just recently picked up a black and white colorway for $70 and it brought me back to my childhood again. The Flight 89's definitely deserves their flowers.

dope video always loved the flight 89 but they just haven’t been tight since 2000 i want my leather to be soft and wrinkle with the more i wear. these new retroes are just not it
I'm not a fan of the materials of the newer flight 89 retros, Nike really went cheap onto adding pleather / plastic leather on one of their best classic silhouette IMO

Nike added a 89 model with green / yellow piping recently, I assume to acknowledge Shawn Kemp and the Sonics jersey colors! 😊👍🏻
