So grateful for this video. Great topic(s). "How do I want to spend the rest of my life?" getting out of being stuck. We need this workshop again !!!! Thank you Damon.
@@tatianapouladian7901 I'm not sure, but I have a video here on my channel where I explain re-imprinting and I also have one where I demonstrate the process on someone.
I want to spend the rest with my husband. Working remotely in our business, most time we have fun together, dance , cooking, plant. I need to work on reimprint so i feel confident to present my offer, i feel shame and I don't make false promise on my marketing skills. I am happy i found you. Your question let me find inner answers. I don't make decision dut to resistance. I am trying to address this values & intention from resistance. Once again thank you❤
You reminded me of back when I was learning English as a teenager. One day I had an epiphany- I had been translating from my mother tongue to English in my head all the time before that..so I realized I have to stop doing that and start thinking in English, so actually incorporate it in my life.. I would like to spend the rest of my life feeling joyful and full..filled.. Guess I need to figure out the things that make me feel that way and put energy into that..or if I need to do anything at all to feel that way 🤔 Appreciate the free training, looking forward to it.
I hope you write a book! I think you would be a wonderful author. Selfishly, I’m hoping you’ll write a book for people who are not NLP practitioners and would be for people completely unfamiliar with any of the NLP concepts. Thank you.
@@DamonCart thank you!!!!!! I would really love a self help book like that with your explanations! I can’t wait until your book is published! Good luck to you with the whole process! And thank you especially for making it accessible to the self help crowd. 💚
This video has been very validating, especially given where I’m at. A complete life overhaul doesn’t get any easier later in life, despite plenty of life experience. Yet I too have learned that one can’t get the ball rolling without taking leaps of faith and ‘just doing’ what inspires (with less fussing about how it’s all going to come together). Its a reminder that courage and trust are qualities that are strengthened by engaging them and genuinely living them out. :-)
Another good watch. I'm 35 I've just become a manager at my work. In many ways it's going to help me level up in life and help me challenge myself in areas. I'm a quiet shy kinda guy so dealing with angry staff and customers and getting out of my comfort zone will be good. But I also know that it's going to take up more of my time. Time away from family and having fun. I also have a strong desire to help people become better versions of themselves. I'd like to transition to that as a career at some point. This video really makes me think about that. Sorry for the long post 😀
I have just started learning Swedish. While studying, I wondered I am wasting my time; I should learn Spanish instead of Swedish since Swedish people are good at English. However, I want to learn Swedish. I think I found your clip at the right time. Thanks😊
Hello Damon, I am from India and a big fan of your videos. I am also NLP Practitioner and Coach(a newbie). I want to ask you a question. How to overcome perfectionism?
@@DamonCart I feel good discussing certain things to sort out and learn from those mistakes but my hubby prefers to keep quiet and let the situation settles by itself
Damon...You got me thinking again🤣🤔😅. I would love your input/feedback/challenge with my question below. You know there are people in the Personal Development space that say to sacrifice everything to get what you want (paraphrasing), or obsess about what are you going after so you can get it.... How would you draw the line between doing "whatever it takes" (obsessing to become the best) and live a life that your joyful about if there are still some things you would like to accomplish/fulfill? As always, thank you😊💪🧠
I would say that there will always be things you want to accomplish and fulfill. Accept that that's never going away and actually that's a good thing. It's your will to live. The more you accomplish, the more you will tap into your potential to accomplish more. The more fulfilled you become, the more you can be curious about how much more can you be fulfilled. It's a wonderful problem (not really a problem). The other part to your question is how much pain and sacrifice do you have to endure to accomplish something before it's not worth the fulfillment? I often use the example of running a marathon. Could I run a marathon? I believe I could. Do I want to? No! I don't like running. So do I run a marathon just to prove I can? I think there are many more things I would rather do that are more fulfilling and perhaps just as challenging if not more challenging than running a marathon. Do what fulfills you. If it's not fulfilling, why do it? Usually because other people value it or other people think you should do it. That's not good enough for me.
What if you were 50, had no job, and no means of getting into new education? You had no clue at all if you are good at something, you don't know what your passion could be and you know you don't have any special gift? I have one word for it confusion and desperation! Well ok, two words.
@@Anna_Amoroso in your original comment, I don't know if you're referring to yourself or someone else, but you started the sentence with "What if..." My response is to start with knowing what you want. Knowing what you want is the first step to progress.
I am in a very similar problem - middle aged, no job, no money, no passions, no friends ... bored etc. I know exactly what I want, its just that what I want is impossible. If I reduce what I want to something less, to something just about possible in time, it doesnt motivate much. I dont think its possibke for me to be fully happy tbh.
Exactly someone someone, I know I want a job by it doesn't depend much on me , rather on them, and because of my age it's very difficult. Of course I could invest on myself, study and requalify, but I don't have the money to do that. And that's why I need a job.
