If you were still curious, the Gholdengo deck is the build for the new acespec, the Energy Search Pro. The more types of energy they run the more damage they can get into their hand.
Im building the mother of all Milotic ex decks. Im waiting on getting 100 credits or finding a Palossand ex. So it runs Cornerstone, Farigiraf ex (Noivern ex but as an ability and it hits harder while also hitting the bench) , 1-1 line of the new Gastrodon, 1-1 line aforementioned Palossand ex, and of course 2 Mimikyu. Then I'll probably be running some Erica's invitation and of course Crispin.
@Shleepy_One exactly why its there. And super searchable. Hyper aroma and such. Accompanying Flute is also a card I'm thinking of just to potentially fill a bench, Baryte Jail with Palossand, one hit everything that is worth 2 prizes, profit
@@FerretTwister I like the idea of hyper aroma as well, that’s what I orginally had in my list just for the consistency, but I also do like the idea of scoop up cyclone. Ima have to try it and see how it goes. I also like to play 2 Irida just to search out milotic and or shellos/feebas
@Shleepy_One irida is a pretty good Idea. Also that new supporter that allows you to search 3 Pokemon ex and put them in your hand. I run a single copy with the evolution and devolution Technical Machines
nah ur so right lol! i just felt way to overconfident bc of the 3-0 and needed to get the fullest of sends out of my system😅 kinda one of the reasons i like playing on tcg live since there’s no neg outcome other than a loss too!
I love this! But how does milotic help against regidrago? I was able to beat a deck like this with drago using exeggutor ex's swinging sphene attack lol. Their mimikyu in the active + milotic on the bench didn't stand a chance.
I think, but maybe wrong, that on the final game, if you'd not taken out Arceus, maybe they'd not be able to use the stadium to retrieve energy and power up the Ogerpon? Not sure.
true, but i think i was worried about them setting up another zard to accelerate to ogerpon. either way just that card being in their deck def made it a little harder! i think i shoulda leaned on milotic more bc it can oneshot ogerpon from weakness
i like thorns but i think playing a build like this is kinda nice since u already have 2 diff basic energies and throwing in a third can mess up consistency a lot
@@GinJTCG Pikachu can run a Magnezone-ex or 2 for the wall matchup. Immune to Noivern and Cornerstone and hits hard for little energy cost. I also like Zeraora for Mimikyu builds, though i do run a cologne anyway. It's only been a couple days of building and online tests, so my version is far from irl test-ready.
love to see a list with that typa spice! i feel like not many people run magnezone ex so it’s not worth worrying about when playing a wall deck. some people will naturally be prepped for it but most won’t and the goal is to hit the standard builds :)
@@GinJTCG Going to be doing a lot of experimenting with Pikachu-ex builds (to see what works best) and other new decks. First though I have to watch Sacramento and study video. As a GO/VGC/TCG tri-player it's a lot to study as well haha.
Safeguard Mimikyu walls this deck entirely does it not? only noibat and feebas can touch it and there's nothing to remove its ability, it can just sit and 7 damage counter anything in the active without having to play more than 1 other pokemon to act as a buffer until you get mimikru back onto the field. Could be worth running something that can KO it or a cancelling cologne.
Pretty sure radiant Jirachi and Cornerstone hit Mimikyu. Cornerstone's attack says it's not affected by any effects on the opposing Pokemon. It's a shred attack meaning that it hits through both Aegislash and Mimikyu
solid question! ogerpon's attack does have shred as someone else mentioned, so ogerpon is an easy counter to mimikyu since it can tank hits and 1 shot a mimikyu even if it has bravery charm attached :)
The only viable attackers I can think of that can circumvent these are Cinccino and Giratina, one of which is easily 1-shot and the other is barely seen in the meta anymore...
@GinJTCG I'm trying it out bc I love stall/control decks and it's very cool, although the first game I matched into Annihilape ex which was a crazy bad roll so now I have a safety Mimikyu because why not
yea ok that’s def a rough first matchup, if ur running mimikyu maybe look into legacy/luminous energy to take away the pressure of wrong energy at the wrong time

ooo that makes sense! build sounds wild i def gotta look into it!
Its really really good but against the new ceruledge ex is almost an automatic loss tbh and alot of ppl are using ceruledge rn
W I was waiting on this one.
i had to make sure the list cooked correctly, took me a second to make it flow right lol
W deck, this list cooks
thanks my guy
Not saying much with the ladder changes, but this deck has carried me Arceus league
this deck is insanely powerful rn, im omw to arc league with it too lmaoo
As a gardi player, I hope this pops off
nooo stop no more garde lmaooo

when u finish this list, id love it give it a shot on the channel at some point possibly :)
Bro, you totally deserve the lost in the last one, you earned it by playing that iono when it wasn't necessary. Good video, good matches 😊

i 100% meant dragapult i’m sorry! i will always flip those just cuz they both got drago in the name. ogerpon is ur best friend against regidrago :)

nah fr that list was a rollercoaster
I’ve seen a deck with Iron Thorns + mimikyu as well in this kind of archetype, what do you think about that?

@@GinJTCGdo you think crispin would be a good addition, as there isn’t a HUGE reliance on supporters?
yea i think crispin will be a must if ur playing thorns/mimikyu. just unsure how many would be needed but thats an easy thing to play and test for !
wall control my beloved.
for real! deck is insanely good rn
Just has no answer to Pikachu-ex with Miraidon who has a tech that prevents that deck from walling.
doesn’t ogerpon and noivern work?
