Do you use Articulate 360 or Captive. I am in my senior year for instructional design, & haven’t had an opportunity to use any of the tools for the industry.
@@Layn0ire at my job we do use articulate 360 although I have to admit we barely use it. And when we do we use storyline or rise only! our company is going through a lot of changes and e-learnings haven’t been a solution we’ve been presenting bc of several factors, so I personally haven’t even used storyline in 2 years! we have not used captive at all! I think you’ll be more than ok bc most of the things i’ve learned on the job and I never got formal education like you are! I think you’re going to be great 🙂 if you ever want to chat more about the role - let me know! happy to answer questions
I had an interview for an internship yesterday, and they asked about Storyboarding and srcum packages. I told them, I have no experience in that, only Adobe. They did assure me that I would find a place in the field, I just couldn’t shake feeling like I needed technical skills in something. I’ll be happy to talk to you more about your role !
@@Layn0ire so many companies are different and also what the ID job entails varies so much, it’a tough to say but just know some companies would be happy to teach you and also may not require such technical skills! however, they’re always great to have and me being new to this role (under 3 years) i’m still acquiring so many new skills.
