I haven't seen you this excited about a Lego wave in a while Ash. I can tell that you are very passionate about this theme, I'm actually kind of thankful for it. I never knew just how many characters there were in the Mario world.
These sets ARE very adorable! I love the designs for these sets, I'm more of a diorama/display kinda person? or making a more cohesive environment rather than playing? But man these pieces are COOL! I love the plate connectors with the circles on the end so you can angle them? That seems super useful too!

Super cute wave. As someone who admires this line from a far but finds it too expensive considering I’d get very little out of the play style of the line, I really like the new parts and expanded locations. I just wish the theme had more substantial location builds outside of just the play system.

The blue yoshi is because you get blue yoshi in world 3 in super mario U deluxe. Its also why you're getting a pink yoshi again, pink yoshi you get in world 1 in supermario U deluxe. But they really should have been baby yoshis but im going to buy them anyway because i cant help myself! All of these since the beginning are all adorable! Too cute to pass up!
I was at Toys R Us and was looking to get a new set for the night to build and over heard a little girl asking her parents for the Mario starter set but the parents said she needed to get something cheaper and she was so upset. Didnt buy a set, I bought the Mario set and took it right to her. I hope she gets some of these sets in the future to go with it
Aside from my first comment... After seeing the trailer that conveniently appear after this video, I absolutely love the new ice area's with ice that mario, luigi, or peach can slide on!
I'm still missing the set with Ludvig from my collection, and the Wendy one isn't too pricey. Roy and Morton, Come on out! Especially given the cheaper price points, this might be my favorite wave in a while. I'm still a bit behind on wave 5, but I'm sure post Christmas I can clean some of them up!

Finally they are bringing in Wendy, Pom-Pom and Birdo in to this Lego series. Makes me wonder if they can get their attacks as well in Lego form.
They might do, especially Wendy because all the other koopalings have a unique play feature. These look amazing hope January rolls around fast.
idk if they'll make birds an enemy as she's not really been portrayed as a villain for a long time and more of Yoshi's friend or girlfriend
