For anyone reading this in 2024 - DO NOT go into 'Any cave' as this guy suggests. You want to do to 'DECK 12' and mine, zero spawn, open area cave, very fast. Theres a teleporter nearby. MUCH faster than using random caves.
Can confirm this is the truth lol. With the Orb Vallis plasma cutter I farmed around 50k in standing in about a hour. Ore veins also respawned at the entrance to the cave before I left. So I’m not sure how long the veins take to respawn
A tip from mining is that if you just tap each node you still get more/gems about half what you would if you played the mining mini game, but you can get around to so many more nodes that you'll end up with more resources in the same amount of time.
Conservation on the last target is actually much better. If you use Pheromones while hunting for Kubrodons, you get 3,600 from 1 Kubrodon (if it's Kubrodon Incarnate or however it's called. The Black EVIL one). Depending on your MR it's MUCH faster & you keep your gems for crafting.
At first, mining looks reliable and good farming method but as I tried to go rank 3 and up it's getting harder and harder because you can only trade gems and not ores. But the thing is, every cave I visit, there's literally tons of ore and I can only find 1-3 gem veins. Sometimes there's literally only ore veins in a cave. So 30+ minutes of mining can only get me to 10k+ standing I don't know if I just have a shitty luck or my game is bugged
I prefer hunting over mining at higher levels. It's faster and you get to keep your gems for crafting items such as Kit guns etc. When your max rank you can just capture like 3 rare kubradons and your done.
I learn something new every day. I have been playing this game for 2+ yrs and most of it isn't straight forward learning. I have always wondered what those brackets were, while mining, on the scale. Usually a game will have a walkthrough to explain how to use a tool, but not warframe.
late but valid tip for people trying to do this right now, to get less ore and more gems: spam your drill at reds unless you see the small rectangle that signalizes a gem, else you will only obtain ore from the reds which you can't trade for rep other than that the blue veins are where it's at in terms of gems
Yess this paired with solo mode is a life saver also i emptyed my daily standing also they should add a app where you can play as your pet and you can collect Resources
Personally I just do perfect captures of the big animals like Kubrodons and Stovers and get thousands of rep each capture. Rarer Kubrodons give 8k and rare Stovers give 6.4k.
Btw I'm new to fortuna (but I'm surah at cetus tho), do you need to lure the animal out or just can just capture one in the open, idk if it only spawn in open world or by lure it out, I'm a vasca hunter, one of the best animal to farm for standing, which animal is like vasca kavat? And how much standing u get from that animal, is it spawn only at warm/cold? (Like kavat, only spawn at night)
Mining is so effective I tend to just do a 30-40 minute mining session and that’s usually a weeks worth of ore for me. I’ll max my daily standing and then just max it again the next day without having to go back to the vallis. Pretty nifty.
What's also better with mining is you can go mining at any time eof day before your max standing resets. So while your waiting for the day to reset, you can just go farming at your own pace.
Very helpful for newer players, as an older player i'd also recommend perfect animal captures (conservation) if you can stealth. When fortuna came out i didn't do any bounties really, got to R5 standing with ticker, that said i had over 20 Million, realised how bad it was at less than 5 O_o that said they may of lowered costs now? 🤔

Fortuna is the opposite of Eidolon, in Eidolon Rare Fish (Murkray,Norg etc) small one worth 500standing Medium 625 and Large 1000, but mining only worth max 400 In Fortuna, Mining..the highest you get 1000 and quite easy. Conclusion : Eidolon - do fishing Fortuna(orb vialis) - do mining Do bounty only farm Warframe part
A way to kill two birds with one stone is farming Exploiter Orb, you get some sweet resources and the boss toriode which you can give to little duck for some great rep

Ikr it's like he doesn't understand the Rare Minerals that gives you a thousand standing it's all random drops.. you can have the best mining drill in the entire game and you'll still have the same drops as if you used a low-grade version of the drill... the only way this method would work if you get 20 to 30 of the rarest mineral like the nyth... Frankly I think in the future digital extremes needs to make a material similar to Legendary mod where you can basically max out your daily standing but you can only get it through steelpath that's what they should have done with universal medallions
I found flying across the map and hunting animals more effective and less time consuming also you don't loose any resource and can exchange all the tags for beautiful floofs

you forgot to mention that when mining, if you hit the centre of the target you get the most materials out. the further out from the centre the less you get. great video nonetheless though!
hi. i want to say, that the capturing is better. ivara with her sleep arrow and her stealth. the materials are better to use for kitguns and stuff. @ capturing the animals, you get tokens to tarde of some ploosh from smokefinger. the exploiter orb is easy, because you donßt have to keep the coolingspiders off from her. just keep stadily throwing thermia. get a radiation sniper with critt and boom done.
The funny thing is...as much as people hate finishing and mining and animal hunting, a person can get a bunch of standing from all three doing them JUST for Nightwave when those Acts pop up. I totally understand someone not wanting to mine for an hour or more just for the gems and ores to hand in, an hour of mining would kinda feel sucky in a game full of action. But just doing it for Nightwave, handing the gems in, handing the fish in, and capturing some animals, it's easy to make fairly steady progress up the SU ladder and not feel like you have to bash your head against it.
Kind of weird how the side activities are almost always more efficient at gaining standing than the bounties. For Cetus I've found that hunting might actually be a bit more efficient than mining provided you hunt at night, because the spawn rate for Vasca Kavats is pretty high (plus, there's far less Grineer running about at night) and with the tranq gun you have a better spotting range for animals than you have for minerals with the lasers and you can cover a wide area quickly with the Archwing, plus high-tier animals get you more standing than with rare gems (mind you, only gems can be traded for standing whereas ore is only used in crafting so about 50% of your mining is useless) and the animals themselves aren't used for anything. Deimos is a bit more tricky because the most efficient way is to do it all at once so you can trade for grandmother tokens which are worth more standing.
Demios would be correct its simply while you thier and out thier just harvest the whole rock. I say a whole death star crew couldn't mine demios enough to have spare shit for demios

Welp, guess I'm gonna hate leveling SU standing on Orb Valis. Already spent nearly 2h mining to get the resources to build Lavos. I hate mining in this game ngl.
When ur starting off this is very good but later on perfect caps is the go to.I max out in 5-8 mins and that’s maxing out with 29k standing I just go to this one spot for stover cao then reset out of orb vallis then back in again and repeat capture

I'd argue that conservation is much better for standing. The best conservation hunt you can do is the kubrodon, its common version giving 2k standing for a perfect, uncommon giving 4k and the rare version gives 8k standing! now we can get kubrodon lures and pheromones (pheromones boost the chances of a rare kubrodon to 66% and uncommon to 33%) the secret is to sell all your other animals echo lures Now only kubrodon hunting points will show up when you equip a tranq rifle equip ivara, fly to the closest hunt, track quickly, pheromon, call, go invisible, tranq the beast, profit.

somewhat old video but i started farming standing and ores to craft Tatsu. got 100 of each ore required now i need to unlock the alloy bp, for that ill have to increase my standing level a lot so ehh pain. also i didnt realize you had to mine like that... i always just quickly passed my laser through the 2-3 points and carried on, never knew there was a proper method lmao. i feel like an idiot
Yeah, people really sleep on animal hunting in the Vallis. I do one run of 6 perfect captures for Nightwave, I'll get over 30k standing. I sometimes need to leave for the day and complete that weekly the following day because I get so much standing from it and I'm MR30.
Kubrodons are GREAT for standing...but you already have to be ar rank 5 to hunt them! Getting to that point is an exercise in beating your head against a wall.

@@Pupsker thanks. My max a day is 25,000. I wish I could go over that to max my rank up so I can finally make xaku and be able to launch my archgun in missions. I didn't know you had to be max rank in fortuna to do that so I purchased the thing for 20plat and can't do anything still so it was a waste of plat.
they need to incentivize new players to max out their standing for eudico and vox solaris before even making them progress. that way when they are grinding something like Xaku they dont have to go through a million different obstacles just for a subsume.

Yep can confirm just run to deck 12 and pick up toroids to get standing in vox

Once you hit max standing, try hunting with ivara, you can get huge gains that way

Just open the caches around Fortuna, fly 200m away with archwing and they spawn again. Way easier.

Yes, sunpoint is better and drops more rares. Once you get the sunpoint only use the sunpoint.

Kubrodons are GREAT for standing...but you already have to be ar rank 5 to hunt them! Getting to that point is an exercise in beating your head against a wall.

So does debt bonds go past your cap? Or is your cap the max you can get in a 24hr time period?
You can collect so many debt bonds that you hold more than the 24hour cap would be. Still can't hand in over the 24hr timer amount though.
@@Pupsker thanks. My max a day is 25,000. I wish I could go over that to max my rank up so I can finally make xaku and be able to launch my archgun in missions. I didn't know you had to be max rank in fortuna to do that so I purchased the thing for 20plat and can't do anything still so it was a waste of plat.

There is standing cap for each faction which depends on MR lvl.

Hunting animals is also fast and more fun than mining eventhough it takes a very small amount of time longer
You didn't mention turning in granum coins to release solaris united prisoners you can max out easy that way you can get 900 per max granum coins

they need to incentivize new players to max out their standing for eudico and vox solaris before even making them progress. that way when they are grinding something like Xaku they dont have to go through a million different obstacles just for a subsume.

I tried mining for 20 minutes going cave to cave, got 9,000 reputation, awful strat and i reccomend bounties instead.
