Um dos melhores álbuns de todos os tempos, uma combinação rara de vários elementos, tudo que eu gosto no Metal está aqui: riffs poderosos, peso arrastado, partes rápidas, Doom, Death, elementos do oriente médio, um vocal gutural foda, teclados climáticos etc... Sensacional!! Pena que hoje é um disco quase esquecido!
Empecé escuchando sus albums más recientes, luego fui recorriendo su pasado y wow. Se escucha las ganas y epicidad de su trabajo. Éste album, Lepaca fliffoth y Arab Zaraq son mis favoritos.

No matter what era, Therion has ALWAYS had amazing sound
I disagree. The band massively lost power after Theli. The next few albums were solid and ok, but far from this greatness here. In the late 2000s they finally lapsed into a ridiculous joke.

This is definitely my favorite Therion album, I don't like the albums that came after, they are good and unique but this entire cd was an absolute masterpiece, I love the death metal in this awesome album!!! The eye of the eclipse is the star track for me!

my first record I bought from Therion was Lemuria/Sirius B; which I like much. Then I searched backwards their development and found this record. What an awesome sound - I love the song "Dawn of Perishness" from this! DAMN EPIC!!! \m/
i agree! the solo in that song is one of my favorites of all-time.
Their crowning achievement. Really wish Therion would have kept at least some of the death metal elements to their music because while I like their more recent stuff, these guys were at their best during the short period of time when they blended death metal and symphonic metal together.
+Celio19891 Right on, it's full of ideas, at times as frantic as it is melodic. While "Theli" may have been their grand artistic achievement on the mainstream level, this album is for us in the shadows, hehe...

Yo ha ha Wtf they had some Indian sounding stuff in here ha ha ha first time I heard Indian influences of music in a death metal record ha ha that's funny cause I heard a lot of Egyptian scale stuff in death metal but the heavier stuff is authenticity to the genre
