i dont see why no one recognises alecs pain, except magnus, i want to see an episode where people truly help him or to show that side of him more so we can understand it better
My poor boy with his bruised heart. He tries so hard to fix everything for everyone and he forgives so easily. Much as Magnus loves Alec even he made Alec pay harshly for a wrong judgment call with the Soul Sword. I am very surprised that Alec did not have a breakdown after what happened during the party. The breakdown might have manifested in his selfharming with his hands after Jocelyn's death. When Magnus was in the infirmary you could see him pinching his hand. I want to give him the biggest hug.
Honestly, I never understood why no one seemed to care enough about how hurt Alec always was (besides Magnus). He always carried the weight of the world on his shoulders, everything was always his fault and he was never good enough. I hope that in 3b we get to see a happier Alec, though I'm afraid we won't. Thank you for making this video, it showed something that I think people never gave the deserved importance to. 💕
I really appreciate your comments! Exactly what I try to convey in most of my Alec videos. He's always responsible for everyone else's mistakes, blamed when they're hurt (clary saying "why did you let your mom say all those awful things about izzy", as if he could control that). It's no wonder he hurts himself to deal with stress/emotional pain. He's a depressed character but they don't really talk about it past 2x08.
The only time Alec is ever happy is with magus and vice versus and then his parents don’t support him (until the end) but like without Alec this show would be nothing
