    I love what you do! Your thinking out loud encourages my own creative thoughts. Sometimes I get frustrated when what you're working on is out of shot.

      I know what you mean Barb, it frustrates me too 😔 but I think I am starting to get the hang of it. I do not ever plan ahead what I will say...I just go for it. I am glad you like it ❤

    Thank you so much. My way of doing art seems to be not having an idea and then the paper and fabric seem to tell me what to do. I always believed an artist saw beforehand what they were going to do. Happy it can be done either way!

      Yes, I look at the same things and can see many different ways I can take it. The fun is in letting the materials suggest things to you 🙏

    Love this, so lovely yet so simple thanks for the inspiration like the idea of doing some little pictures. You mentioned a glue stick, is it like those paper glue sticks? Does that make the fabric stiff? How dose it affect sewing threw the glued area, does the needle get sticky?

    • @artfiberstitch
      @artfiberstitch  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there and thank you. Yes just a paper glue stick, and just a little bit, to hold it long enough to get some tacking or stitches into. You can skip it and use pins. And yes if you tried to use too much glue it would stiffen the fabric and make it hard to stitch through.
