Boy, it's like the hair is in a sauna bath. It's so relaxing watching you wash her hair and the sound when you are scrubbing it, that would put me to sleep. I wish other hairstylists would use steam like you do.

The best to comb through hair is when conditioning

That's why I see alot of short hairs on sistahs.
Too much combing.
Don't scramble your hair.
I wash my hair, condition it very well, rinse put cream, detangling spray, part in four sections. I gently from the tips to the root comb it out with a wide tooth comb.
I put heat protectant, blow dry on warm, flat iron once, nice and slow.
Apply moringa oil and message vigorously for about 5/10 minutes.
I wrap it up.
Under the heat 5 minutes, my goodness my hair is so beautiful.
My hair is thick as ish, now long down my back.
Only I... do my own hair now.

The BEST. I repeat, the best shampoo and conditioner application in Black hair for the Black hair practitioners.
Straight up.
No disregard to the fragile nature of natural hair in it's organic state.
The parting and separation and root application of shampoo and conditioner. Baby.... this is how you do it.
No skimping on the complete saturation of conditioner. And detangling. Just excellent.
Many here in the United States as Black hair care consumers experience great prejudice against good healthy hair practices.
They aren't codified but should be.
The pricing is exorbitant based on arbitrary or personal "preferences" for textures of clients.
And to pay a premium and to not get full service is where we are. Additionally, as is the trend in response to the mistreatment and lack of excellent services, relaxers are becoming more prevalent.
Love relaxers. Love natural.
It's the unique service from Jennifer Cynthia, that highlights what is so absent from most alleged Black hair care professionals here in the United States, in my opinion.
The amount of times I've screamed at the screen when the stylist used a dime of conditioner and yanked the dehydrated strands to death. Lord, lol.
And obviously needed, no steam or moisture regimen applied. On a Silk Press client, are you kidding me, lol?!
The highlighted front money piece was gorgeously blended with no harsh lines of demarcation. ❤❤❤❤

I used mousse, chi leave in conditioner, and aloe Vera water. Could you help me identify what I did wrong ?

Omg i love her haor texture..one of my favorites. Its very close to mine. I like watching videos were.girls gwt there hair done, but i didn't grow up that way. Like my hair was too tedious to go het straightened, i have a sweaty scalp as well. So i had to just except how god made my haor, dispute materialism and societal pressures. Lol

Thick voluminous hair is beautiful in every race. As an Italian woman I had much thicker hair when younger, now I’m old and my hair is not as thick and I only like it very short. You do beautiful work. Bravo.

is there a difference in the outcome if you dye natural hair freshly washed compared to not washed ?
I think the oils in your hair helps the dye not damage your hair so much.
As long as your hair dries after and is not wet when dying it'll be fine
Like maybe if things would have been different i would be a press and curl type girl, but especially after my dad passed away, like my mom really couldn't hyper focus on my hair. And i learned about the whole porosity thing as an adult. Like if my mom wasn't so stressed maybe she wouldve cared, but i just had generic cornrows the whole time.... Not even these new age cute kind with hearts and zig zags and braided at an angle... None on that. Straight backs 😂😂😂 but also my hair is sensitive and brittle. Like even me washing the oil out of it males me feel like its compromised,and about to try to start breaking

This is how my hair should’ve stayed looking but they swore it was heat damage no they secretly relaxed my hair bc I guarantee after her silk press and she washed her hair was still 4c I had to do a big chop And I didn’t even do a big Chop when I went natural in 2016 now it’s back natural and I need to get it healthy it’s so dry and Brittle and taking forever to grow back
