The best any parent can do is try to instill proper values and priorities and hope it all takes. When it doesn't, it's usually at the age when the influence of a child's friends surpasses that of their parents.
Most of them are probably for failure to appear in court. A lot of times people who were never in jail have warrants for that. Say you have a traffic violation that requires you to show up in court and you don’t go to court, they issue a warrant for your arrest.

That DV call @1:17:19 was heartbreaking. I disagree with the officer's comment that the mother couldn't "control" her daughter. No one can "control" drug use by an adolescent child. The best any parent can do is try to instill proper values and priorities and hope it all takes. When it doesn't, it's usually at the age when the influence of a child's friends surpasses that of their parents.

Most of them are probably for failure to appear in court. A lot of times people who were never in jail have warrants for that. Say you have a traffic violation that requires you to show up in court and you don’t go to court, they issue a warrant for your arrest.
