- Building of the Colt Mk12 Mod 1.
Took a long time to collect all the necessary parts. Decided to lightly document the build. Shot in RAW HD on anamorphic lenses. Mastered in Ultra Panavision 2.76 aspect ratio.

Nicely made video. The MK12 has a special place in my ❤️ the AEM5 is still king of the hill for 5.56 IMHO. I think I'll go get in my safe and hang out with mine for a little while 🤗

paired with Black Hills 77gr that rifle is a beast. You had Marines scoring head shots at 500yrds in Afghanistan
They were doing that with m16's
@@SpicyCactusnop a m4 whit is 26 inch barrel and standard ammo have like 300 meter effective range , you cant hit at 500 meter or beyond accuratly

One of the largest costs for the Mod 1 is the KAC FF rail. Definitely the hardest part to find, look to put down a large amount of coin for one of those unless you get extremely lucky and find it for retail. In your case however, building a mod 0, rails are much more readily available and can be found for retail. Your biggest single expense will probably be optic if you go with the Leupold Mk4 3.5-10x. Keeping it under 3K without including cost of optic is doable.

8.8", but once threaded on it only adds about 4.5" in overall total

They are Rizoma Spy bar end mirrors. They come in different sizes, I went with the 80mm.

"waaahhhh STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE!" FFS. 400,000,000+ firearms in the US alone. You may not know you like them, but the average American firearms owner keeps the US Government in Check which (mostly, but increasingly poorly) keeps the rest of the world in check. So, if you are a fan of western democracy, you are a gun fan.
I love anything mechanical; cars, motorcycle, cameras, guns... its all cool and interesting to me. Hope to post some more car and motorcycle videos in the future.
