Watch "The motor oil geek", he did an episode testing cans of old oil. You will never use an old can of oil again.
    Good drain plug mod.
With the bike not having an oil filter, an older style of oil may be better. Modern oils are designed to keep dirt particles suspended in order to get them to the filter. Oils for older, unfiltered systems drop the deposits so they do not circulate through critical components. Having said that, choosing oil can be a mine field. Everyone that thinks they know about oil will tell you your selection is wrong. Use which ever you feel is best.

@@ginner43 Hi thanks for the comment . I do indeed watch the " motor oil geek " .
I 'm currently using an engine oil that he recommends highly .
It was also recommended by a very succesful race engine builder from Launceston , Cornwall who did some machining on my Guzzi 1000SP when I was locked down in UK .
I don't have a loyalty to any brand , I just buy one of the better brands when they are on sale .Most are good and manufacturers buy from one another anyways so you never know exactly what you are getting .
Not Vishing to start an oil thread , I Von't say Vhat's in the engine .

@@dungspreader The worst thing you could ever do is tell the general public which oil you use. The arguments will go on for weeks. I'm glad you have an oil you are happy with, keep using it and keep making videos.
      Cheers
P.S. I was going to use an emoji here, but there's so many of them and I don't know what they all mean.

Plugged vent in the rear end?

@@thompsonjerry3412. Thanks for your comment .
The only vent is via the pinion bearing into the swing arm/drive shaft tube .
I might drill and tap the final drive housing and fit a breather , but that's a job for winter .
