As a kid growing up in the 70’s, I of course grew up watching her. I loved the show Family & he portrayal of Buddy. I also remember when she was abruptly missing on the show Empty Nest. I’m glad she chose to be happy & healthy rather than continue doing something that was detrimental to her well being. Glad she’s doing ok today.
Kristy was fun to watch on empty nest. She seems very down to earth. Yes, she has real problems too. Good to see she's trying to help others with thier struggles. God bless her.
Her acting talent alone is worthy of respect, but her decision to walk away from the glory, fame and fortune to live the life she wanted is even more admirable. Kristy and I are the same age and I loved Apple’s Way and Family and wish today’s youth could see similar family dramas nowadays. What I like most about her though is that she doesn’t preach to her fans and the public like the vast majority of entertainers and celebrities. She doesn’t tell us how to think or vote, doesn’t demand we hold her views, doesn’t smear people who believe or live differently. So refreshing.Just lives her life in peace and helps her fellow humans without seeking praise and attention.

Yes I did copy and paste but met this lady many years back. I can live with peoples sexual orientation but not not with people who change their sex and say males (XX chromosomes) have menstruation and Google search says no misinformation but they are doing it. Why? Because Woke idiots have paid them to say something that can put a person’s life at risk or kill someone who’s is a child or a layman. Now I say LGBT means: Licentious Goons Bigots and Tyrants. Loved "Little Darlings," a great coming-of-age movie. The deleted scene of Angel rescuing Farris in the lake is on here. Wish they'd kept all of the original score on the DVD but some of it was changed.
I remember reading an article in magazine at the time, about Kristy McNicol in "Little Darlings" some people on the set were appalled with her constant swearing and chain smoking, that's what the article said.

I loved Kristy on family aka buddy. She was a great actress & she was also great on the golden girls & she was also awesome on empty nest i just always loved her. She was a pretty lil girl & turned into a beautiful woman. I hope she is well & happy.

I think she had her career at a time when “coming out”..was just simply not an option…and she chose not to participate
