Ours came with batteries for you at Heli-Nation as we ordered them that way but they do not all come with batteries so pay close attention when purchasing.
Would you recommend this to a beginner? I fly fixed wing on spektrum and I want to start flying quads. I need a new controller for that, would the elrs version be good? Thanks
I don’t fly wings, but this does have plenty of switches. There are also several PWM compatible receivers for ELRS now. Yes, this is a great option for a newcomer.
@@TitanFPV thanks, last question, as I’m a beginner. I want something that will bind out the box at first. Of course I’ll end up soldering and all the other stuff after. If I just buy a 2.4ghz elrs bnf drone will it work with this out the box?
In theory, yes. This ships with ExpressLRS 2.X. The BNF would also need to ship with 2.X. It would depend on what version the rx was shipping with. ELRS 2.X and 1.X don’t play well together as far as I know. It could be easily updated though
if I buy a new ep2 receiver can I bind it to this radio without flashing the ep2 receiver because I've been really having a hard time flashing these receivers please help
@@TitanFPV if it was at a cheaper price like $90 than it was considerable. But $109 when the 1W t pro is for just $89 might drive a lot of potential customers away

@@TitanFPV I only plan to use it for drones
Go for it! I’m switching from my Tango 2.

Thanks!

If it’s running ELRS 2.x already, yes. Otherwise you will have to update it.
oh yeah can you please make a video on binding your ep2 receiver to this radio please
I’ll see what I can do!
Dang dude how did you get one so quick?
Pat from Heli-nation gets them in the mail with the quickness.
@@TitanFPV nice, good review
Thanks!
If it had a 1W internal elrs like the T pro then it would’ve been a no brainer.
Agreed. For me, even at 250mW it’s gonna edge out the T-pro. While it looks similar to the previous T8 pro Radiomaster, it feels so much better.

I noticed the price increase. When I ordered mine, it was $10 cheaper.
