Yep. Been going out there and staying at both cabins for many years. Decades. You chickened out at "Chicken Rock"... Yep that one has a pucker factor. Been over it many times in my full size K5 Blazer. The Briggs Cabin has a 2 meter Ham Radio antenna on a tall pole mast and you can hook into it on the inside of the cabin. Many of the cabins back in the mining days had "Miners Cats".. They happen to love figs. And they keep the rodents down.
We thought about going over chicken rock but in a stock tacoma and not having a second vehicle we decided not to push it this time. Next time for sure. But yes this place is one of a kind and very special
@doug6885 did you go over it in a stock Tacoma if so that's badass if not my 👞 size is 12in and I got the keys if you willing to pay for all damage to vehicle 😉 . But yeah we were in one vehicle a stock Tacoma no rescue vehicle and chicken Rock ain't going no where so we will be back with two trucks to get over. Yes it has multiple solar panels, in the video i believe we point it out. But yeah super crazy place, so unique one of a kind. I hope one day you get to experience her as well
