- The fact that the Kano State Assembly under its constitutional responsibility decided to repeal the emirate law and the law is valid according to the judgement of the High Court. Automatically, we have reverted to the pre-2019 Kano Emirate reality which had Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the sole Emir of one united Kano State

Mr Rufai when Sanusi was served the same breakfast he didn't put off a resistance. Why then is Fmr Ado Bayero putting off a defence?

This guy is government spokesperson not the attorney who represented Kano state government in this case. Arise TV would have invited the attorney who represented Kano government for this discussion. This guy is not very vest I think the attorney would have given a clearer details analysis. He's trying his best to interpret the judgement but lacks depth. I don't think this interview would have been more meaningful if the appropriate person was invited to Arise studio

The truth is ex Emir Aminu does not live in the Nasarawa Palace. He goes there early in the morning and leaves late at night. In fact, he lives in a hotel (name withheld).

In the 1960s, Sanusi’s grandfather was deposed and exiled by the then Premier of Northern Nigeria, Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sarduana of Sokoto and AdoBayero’s father was enthroned and ruled until his death. Sanusi the 2nd suffered the same fate of dethronement in the hands of Ganduje. Hmmmm, it’s high time the National Assembly freed the traditional institutions from the strangle-hold of meddlesome politicians who derive joy from trampling on everything that are considered sacred to the people they are supposed to be serving. If these institutions cannot be protected from their unhealthy and overbearing influence, they had better be scrapped instead of allowing them to become objects of ridicule and possible incendiary time bombs ready to be unleashed on the hapless masses by egoistic politicians in their search for political capital.
