Hey, Gang, just a quick reminder or if you didn't catch my post on it the other day, I'm now not recording as many days ahead as I was. (Now 3-4 instead of 5-6.) Kishimoto did bad work on many characters, between other things, but his work on Sakura is, by far, the worst :p. And the fact that this ridiculously bad worked character is a main one doesn't help...

And, to be fair, if we reduce the principle to its simplest expression, Naruto is the only main character, Sasuke is another archetype, the eternal rival with little interest ( from the point of view of writing, it is otherwise from a marketing point of view ), which serves only to retain the youngest fanbase.

Karin atleast had that whole Sasuke saved me thing but even then all she ever goes on about how hot Sasuke is. The reasons for their love of Sasuke that they display are completely superficial. This makes them seem like cheap masochistic whores who only like him for his looks. Fuckin Naruto understands Sasuke more than those 2 ever did.....

This arc really killed Sakura's character. I know sasuke is immune to poison but it would've shown some growth if she at least stabbed him! Instead she reverted back to her useless weak self who needed to be saved TWICE in one episode, and for someone who is the smartest in her squad by far, why is she so illogical?

People tend to forget that up until the naruto vs pain fight every technique had a risk and weakness. Sage mode can only be used by naruto for 5 minutes before running out unless he has some clones that accumulate energy for him but even still it was limited to 2 clones while the risk being that you turn into stone frog if you lose control. After Naruto vs Pain you only get some overpowered characters who use jutsus with no weakness and no risk: Raikage, tsuchikage and all the new jutsus that plot bestows on Naruto and Sasuke.
Plot made Sasuke not copy 1000 jutsu like Kakashi by your name, wouldn't sasuke think that any other justu was inferior if it wasn't Uchiha based? He seem to know a lot about other justu, but when you go through the plot anyway, sasuke only encountered Kekki genkai, you know, abilities unique to specific clans. And he knows shadow clones, btw.

claytonstrEt94 for 1 sasuke would need to see a thousand non kekkei genkai jutsu to copy them and then he'd have to train to use them. He's better off developing his own jutsu rather than stealing other jutsu. Majority of other jutsu he would come across he has already developed better jutsu so there's not really a need to copy anything.

Felipe Revuelta that would imply that flashbacks are current through out the show, it was this arc, war arc (actual final war part with Madera and Madera) and Kaguya arc that was flashback heavy.

Grossuji0815 In case you missed the detail where the susano had disappeared, sakura was standing behind him for a second and could've stabbed him, proven by how startled he was when he turned around and saw her, which is when they established that even with perfect set up, sakura couldnt bring herself to kill sasuke. And in case you forgot, the kunai is poisoned, so even a tiny cut wouldve done the trick
Even Tenten could have done it since she's the marksman.
Kakashi actually said it wouldn't have killed him due to Orochimaru building up his resistance to poisons but she could've punched him just as easily and at least knocked him out cold

I HIGHLY suggest you watch the fanmade version of Kakashi vs Sasuke, here on youtube. Of course it isn't animated as well as the official version, but the choreography is easily 100X better. The canon fight is an utter disappointment by comparison. If you have a chance Curtis, give it a look!

And then when Neji nearly killed her he was at her side trying to help and swearing to get revenge for her. There is actual depth and development between them where as Sakura just never seemed to get over the first guy she had a crush on.

From a young age of like 4, they both had a one sided relationship (crush, rival), then got on a team and spent every day in close proximity and went through life and death situations together and got closer steadily, with Sasuke and Sakura having interactions beyond fangirl and target starting around when she thought he was dead in Wave.
Why does Hinata get a pass for love with three events where they interacted over the entire series (Not including whatever filler the anime had) but Sakura's gradual change with constant interaction in the genin era is NG? Why does Naruto get a pass to develop his feelings gradually and not Sakura? Why is Sakura stupid for still going after Sasuke when he defected and basing her whole reason to gain strength around him and Naruto isn't?

Sakura is a character who can't do shit by herself in battle yet attempts to go into battle alone anyway (Against Sasuke. What the fuck was she thinking?) and then get's rescued.
Remember that time Sakura helped kill Sasori? Those were the days.
Actually, at that time, I thought that was going to be a turning point for her character... I guess not. 🙂
It's what everybody thought! It's this arc that really soured so many people to her. She goes through the, "I'm always walking behind them...but now I will walk beside them!" character phase like four times.
Kakashi and Sasuke should’ve had a long, brutal fight. It would’ve brought something new to Shippuden. A lengthy fight between Student and Sensei. But it obviously wound not have happened due to Sasuke already being worn out from his fight with Danzo.

That alone. Even when people say he should’ve gone to the village after killing itachi, that it didn’t make sense. Sasuke never wanted to be like Itachi, he loved his brother but he wouldn’t put his village over so even if that’s what itachi wanted that’s not what Sasuke wanted. So when he found out that they put itachi into this situation he goes in for revenge because his clan is more valuable than the village to him. So while he loved his brother, they didn’t see eye to eye on that front.
When his rage made him to turn to attack the hidden leaf. He thought that how can a village support that kind of system where they send in a boy to kill his clan. In his eyes the villagers were just bystanders that let everything happen, so the village is as well responsible. To a victim, a passive bystander is just as bad as the villain because they are passive and do nothing to help

I feel like most "mistakes" that Kishmoto made in Naruto are because he was pressured when writing. He didn't have enough time to thoroughly think of what to write next and had to write quickly to keep up with the schedule posed by his publisher. I think that if Kishi went on a few hiatus', the story would've been better developed (not that it isn't but it could've been better). I think many Mangaka suffer from this.

I don’t think people get that if sakura hadn’t hesitated she would have killed sasuke here. He didn’t know she was there until he heard the kunai. The only reason sasuke didn’t die here is because sakura still loved him.
sasuke sees reality. there's things called context clues and things that he doesn't say that shows that he wants to go back to the leaf and be happy. but this overwhelming feeling of anger and hatred towards the leaf for what they did isn't just something he can overlook easily
I think it's not so much about Sakura being stupid about battle situations, it's because Sasuke is a factor in this battle.
The problem isn't that she made the wrong decision it's that she didn't go through with it

In the end they turned him back to a good guy Naruto has a brother for life and Sakura married the love of her life and had a baby.

when the war arc starts all people will eat some food pills that will make their stamina 100% for 3 days,i told you this so you dont complain about kakashi using the sharingan alot and not getting blind.the food pills are doing their thing

Honestly i would much rather have sakura just be on the sidelines and not really contributing anything than whatever she did this arc. Like she had a clear shot to hit sasuke at one point, but stopped because of some one sided love bullshit. And basically risked her and kakashis life by being a complete idiot. She didn't even need to use the kunai, she could've just used her fists, that way you don't kill sasuke but you would atleast help the situation. If you're so determined to take care of sasuke don't hesitate when you can't afford to. Atleast Naruto wouldn't hesitate to help kakashi in that situation by either giving sasuke a non fatal blow or protecting kakashi. and naruto considered sasuke a much greater friend than sakura ever did, and the feeling was actually mutual at some point, which can't be said for sakura.

I personally love the flash backs when watching the show in binge formate, they add a lot to the emotion and flow of the story. Just have to overlook the bad writing the show has at times like Sakura's overall character and ability and how Sasuke is later compared to now.
13:07 Dunno about that. In her fight with Sasori, Sakura used her smarts a lot. It's just Kishimoto tries to undermine Sakura by not letting her fight and most of the fights focus on Sasuke and Naruto. He made Sakura so obsessed with Sasuke, she has no self-respect when it comes to Sasuke. Kishimoto was Sakura's biggest obstacle.
just like to point out that in the scene where kakashi uses his mangekyou they colored it in reverse. suppose to be black pupils on a red eye but there its red pupils on a black eye. i dont know if it was a mistake or if they did it to match sasukes since his is technically the only canon eye that has its colors reversed. either way kakashis looks bad ass like that lol

I'm just saying that Sakura *could* have knocked Sasuke out, it's been established that her punches are more than enough to kill a person so knocking someone out would have been very easy, and if she was going for a K.O. instead of an outright kill there'd be no reason for her to hold back.
The only reason she tried to use the knife then hesitated because she's "sooo deeply in loooove" (ugh) was because of shitty writing.
No reason for any of this to have happened if you take into account the characters of the story and what powers each one of them have. Which Kishimoto very obviously didn't in this chapter.

I think Karin is the only character (main or side) that Sakura healed, that was actually healed. As a top league medical ninja she only healed 2 people and failed the rest.... (2 ,I remembered konkuro)
