Just getting into helmets. Your and mikes vids are invaluable. I ordered some Hungarian m70s and got m90s with fresh leather suspension. I only knew the difference because of your vids
4:34 ---> beetween SSH36 and SSH40 there was also the SSH39. wich already had the shell design that the 40 has, but with a different suspension system. (and the 39 would end up being copied by the czech s VZ53)

@@DevinK i just found out yes
Also got a ssh40 mine is dated 59 and also has the brown strap
Maybe someone swapped the shell or added in reproduction straps.
@@utzius8003 99% sure the strap is original it comes fresh from a russian depot i think theres maybe still some variation in them
mines is dated 1948 but has post war chinstraps
Where did you get your hands on the 4 point chin strap? Do you think it could be modified to fit on an ssh-68?
It will not work on the 69 it goes around the rivets and they are to high on the 68
@@DevinK damn, oh well. The 68 really does need some sort of 4 point system.
Does anyone have a 6b27 for sale?
