- Jack Davenport (“Pirates of the Caribbean,” “White Famous”), is the star of Sundance Now’s newly announced gripping international thriller, "Next of Kin." The series follows whip-smart General Practitioner Mona Shirani who lives a charmed life at the heart of a loving family in London. Unfortunately, she is left grief-stricken when her beloved brother is brutally murdered while working for a medical charity overseas. As the death brings buried family secrets to light, Mona is drawn into a tangle of betrayal, conspiracy and murder. One way or another, she must find a way to protect herself, her family and her career as they are all put at risk.

I respect Jack even more from this interview and his perspective on this series--I've only really seen him from the Pirate franchise. I've never heard of this series and will be on my list to watch.
always loved Jack Davenport since his days in This Life, which was an extremely important show in British culture. while i have yet to see Next of Kin, be sured i will watch it as the only way to start tackling this issue is to give it the honestly it deserves,
I enjoyed Next Of Kin so much, I even cried lol. I still have some questions tho but I liked it a lot, it was amazing! Can we get season 2? Or Jack back in PotC 6 with the original cast? ;-; He's such an amazing actor, I would love to see him more often on screen!
Both gentlemen are well spoken, intelligent and convey information very intelligently.
This has just come up in my feed as I'm watching The Moth for the Gazillionth time as I use Catherine Cookson films to chill and relax and although they always start with a death, a birth and trubble at mill I do find them extremely relaxing as ambient background in the house. I particularly like Milly in The Moth played by Justine Waddell. It's escapism from the tempestuous times of 2020 ✌️🐻
