Does the word of God originate with Dr. James Tour? Is he flawless in his interpretations? He stated at the 12:06 mark onward that the tribulation is 7 years long. But is it?? If you listen to James Tour and people he got that from, the tribulation is 7 years long, and they usually claim that the church is raptured before it. But if you go to Jesus' words that we CAN trust, He says in Matthew 24: 15: “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ a spoken of through the prophet Daniel-let the reader understand- then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." So Jesus tells us the tribulation begins when Daniel describes the abomination that sets up desolation. In fact after telling a bit more about it in verses 17-20, Jesus then confirms this in verse 21 saying: For then there will be great tribulation, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again. So when therefore does Daniel say it begins? After all Jesus refers us to Daniel for this and even says "let the reader understand"! So let us go and read it and understand. Its from Daniel 9:27, Daniel 11: 31, and Daniel 12: 11. We'll just do Daniel 9:27 to save time. It says: He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. ” So does this happen at the beginning of the seven years? Or the middle of the seven years according to Daniel? Obviously the middle of the seven years. And going back to Jesus' own words to understand when the tribulation begins according to Daniel, Jesus says: "For THEN there will be great tribulation, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again." And Daniel makes plain its 3 and 1/2 years- the MIDDLE of the seven years. So does James Tour get his 7- year tribulation from the Bible? Or does he add that into it with his own words at the 12:07 mark in the video?
@@paulbriggs3072 The false teaching of a 7 year tribulation has been part of Christendom's doctrines for years but it is wrong. Jesus "put an end to sacrifices and gift offering" when he died halfway through the final 7 years of Daniel's prophecy. His death abolished the Law Covenant and ITS sacrifices. The Scriptures plainly state that Christ’s sacrifice “abolished . . . the Law of commandments consisting in decrees” and that God “blotted out the handwritten document against us, which consisted of decrees . . . and He has taken it out of the way by nailing it to the torture stake.” It was the complete Mosaic Law that was “abolished,” “blotted out,” taken “out of the way.” (Eph 2:13-15; Col 2:13, 14) Obviously, the 70 "weeks" were completed in the first century, there are no left over 7 years to apply to the tribulation. Also, the Bible does NOT give a specific length of time for the tribulation.
@@djparsons7363 - What the scriptures teaches and what is in accordance with it does not divide but unite the body of Christ. Only the denial of what God's word in its whole context teaches together with false interpretations as yours divide. You are in contradiction to 2 Tim. 2, 15 not rightly dividing the word of Truth. The 69th week was fulfilled with Jesus riding into the City of Jerusalem on a donkey as the Messiah, the prince. Daniel's 70th week will only start to run with the coming of the prince of the people that destroyed Jerusalem, who will come: Daniel 9, 24 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate [2 Thess. 2; Rev. 13; Matth. 24, 15]. Jacobs's trouble, Daniel's 70th week, the great tribulation: Jeremiah 30, 7 Alas! for *that day is great, so that none is like it:* it is even the time of Jacob' trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. Daniel 12, 1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: *and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time:* and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. Matth. 24, 21 For *then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.* 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Matth. 24, 32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation [the generation that will see the great tribulation and everything what the Lord Jesus teaches in connection with it] shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Pretrerists are thinking humanly bound to their own natural restricted minds, do not understand God's word and are trying to make God's word fit their own imaginations. But not man decides / determines 'truth'. God's word, the Bible, is truth (John 14, 14). Matth. 24, 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
@@djparsons7363 If the one who caused sacrifices to cease were Jesus, then why did they continue until 70 AD? And listen to what Jesus said about that event in Daniel: "...then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again." Now I ask you- did that happen at the crucifixion? And what about other places in Daniel where it tells about the abomination that sets up desolation? There are actually four of them. Daniel 11: 30-32 for instance says about it: "Then he will turn back and vent his fury against the holy covenant. He will return and show favor to those who forsake the holy covenant. His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him." So does that sound like Jesus to you? Your denomination is badly mistaken.
Those "heroes" of the Bible will be on the earth, not in Heaven. @@djparsons7363 - I guess that you are someone who interprets the Bible falsely according to the false ideas of the watchtower organization. In fact we know what happens to someone who is born of God (John 12+13), a member of Christ's body (Eph. 5) when he dies: 2 Corinthian 5, 1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
@djparsons7363 only the Christ can descend or ascend into the heavens.. Enoch and Elijah were taken (raptured) there. The Apostle Paul spoke of a man (whom we believe he was speaking of himself, probably speaking of an event which happened when he was stoned for preaching the gospel and was left for dead) who was "caught up" (taken, raptured) into the third heaven, not knowing wether it was "in the body" (physically) or "out of the body" (spiritually)... Regardless, this shows that God can take whomever he wants, whenever he wants and also preserve them, wether it be on earth or in heaven. Revelation 7:4,9-15 [4]And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. [9]After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; [10]And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. [11]And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, [12]Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. [13]And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? [14]And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. [15]Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
@@alanmcnaughton3628 That great multitude is on earth, NOT in Heaven. . The key to the identification of the “great crowd” is found within the description of them in Revelation chapter 7 and in obviously parallel passages. Revelation 7:15-17 speaks of God as ‘spreading his tent over them,’ of their being guided to “fountains of waters of life,” and of God’s wiping “every tear from their eyes.” At Revelation 21:2-4 we find parallel expressions: ‘God’s tent being with mankind,’ his ‘wiping every tear from their eyes,’ and ‘death being no more.’ THE VISION THERE PRESENTED IS CONCERNING PERSONS NOT IN HEAVEN, BUT ON EARTH, AMONG MANKIND. If the “great crowd” are persons who gain salvation and remain on earth, how could they be said to be ‘standing before God’s throne and before the Lamb’? (Re 7:9) THE POSITION OF 'STANDING' IS SOMETIMES USED IN THE BIBLE TO INDICATE HOLDING AN APPROVED POSITION, JUDGED AS RIGHTEOUS. (Ps 1:5; 5:5; Pr 22:29, AT; Lu 1:19) The sum of the evidence, therefore, points to the “great crowd” as representing all those persons who are not of the heavenly “bride” class, or 144,000 sealed ones, but who stand approved at the time of the “great tribulation” and are preserved alive on earth.
OK so you couldn't be more wrong if you tried. Let's start with your hermeneutic. Is Revelation a book of literal things? Yes or No? The answer is no, it is a vision of things that are not literal. It uses "like" and such qualifiers all the time. It is a book of pictures to explain literal things. Now back to your understanding of heaven and who will be in it. 1) Where is heaven according to Revelation? On the earth. Rev 21. 2) Who are those who are within and outside? Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Revelation 22:14-15 KJV Now back to your numbers. The passages about them say that there are 144,000 male, virgin Jews. Now you say that the 144,000 is literally correct but the male is not, the virgins is not and the Jews is not. You say when it says male it means men and women, when it says virgins it means non virgins and when it says Jews (and names the tribes they come from) it means mostly gentiles. But, according to you, the 144, 000 means exactly that number. That's so obviously wrong but you know it because of Charles Taze Russell. I have a question for you. According to JWs the church had gone apostate and Good re established his church and re established the use of His name and the guy who got this revelation was Russell. Here is the thing, Jehovah cannot possibly be God's name. No J in Hebrew and too many syllables. Now isn't it odd that God re established his true church and got His own name wrong? Seems like that is something that would be important since you named yourself it. You are named after a God that doesn't exist, a name that cannot be right. That should bother you.

NO: It will not be the same for everyone!!! - John 3, 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 5, 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. There is a difference between the judgementseat of Christ for the believer where HE will decide which rewards HIS own will receive according to how they lived their new eternal life in HIM (Romans 5, 8-10; 2 Cor. 5, 14-17; Col. 1, 27) and the great white throne judgement of the unbeliever (no one who is partaker in the first resurrection will be judged before the great white throne) according to their deeds without any consideration of Golgatha. Everyone gets what he chooses.
I believe there is a 1,000 year reign on the present earth, then a new earth that lasts forever. In the 1,000 years there is still death and sin, but human suffering and rebellíon is substantially remedied - far greater than any utopian dream. The reign of Jesus forever on the new earth is radically better.
You may believe everything but you also have to follow 2 Tim. 2, 15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Like dividing the differences between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant... What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. New Covenant Whole Gospel: Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him. He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those in the New Covenant. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. @@Morewecanthink The following proves you are correct. A Millennium Puzzle to solve… Will Christ be conducting funeral services for mortals killed in accidents 500 years after His Second Coming? The “first resurrection” in Rev. chapter 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the Book of Revelation, because the two witnesses are resurrected from the dead in chapter 11. There are two different types of resurrection in John chapter 5. There is a spiritual resurrection from the dead in John 5:24, and a bodily resurrection from the dead in John 5:28-29. Does your view of the Millennium agree with what Paul said in 2 Thess. 1:7-10, when Paul said Christ returns in "flaming fire" taking vengeance on those who do not obey the Gospel? The fire comes at the end of Rev. chapter 20. Does your view agree with what Peter said in 2 Peter 3:10-13, when Peter said this earth is going to burn and "dissolve" when He comes as a thief on the day of the Lord? The fire comes at the end of Rev. chapter 20. Does your view agree with what Paul said in 2 Tim. 4:1, when Paul said both the living and the dead will be judged at His appearing? The time of the judgment of the dead, with reward for some and destruction for others is found in Rev. 11:18, right after the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible. (This verse also proves the Book of Rev. is not in chronological order.) The judgment of the dead is also found at the end of Rev. chapter 20. Does your view agree with what Jesus said in Matt. 25:31-46, where He described the judgment of the sheep and goats, which leaves no mortals alive on the planet at the end of the passage? There are also no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Rev. chapter 19. Does your view agree with Peter in 2 Pet. 2:4, and Jude in Jude 1:6, when they both said wicked angels are already in chains of darkness? Does your view agree with what John recorded in Rev. 9:1-2, when an angel comes down from heaven with a key to unlock the pit, which means the pit was locked before that time? Are there wicked angels already in the pit in Rev. 9:11? John recorded angels already "bound" in Rev. 9:14. The beast "ascends" out of the pit in Rev. chapter 11, which means the beast was in the pit before that time. Take all of the above and compare it to the symbolic language found in Rev. chapter 20, and the fact the Book of Revelation is not in chronological order, and you will have the truth. ================================= Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order ) Christ returns one time in the future. However, there are several different visions of His return shown from different perspectives in the Book of Revelation. Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse. Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb. Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present? The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ. He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18. The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15. The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13. He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and we find the greatest earthquake in history in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. How powerful is an earthquake which moves islands and destroys the mountains? What is happening to the planet? He comes on a horse in chapter 19. Chapter 20? Does He come with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1? (The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.) There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46. Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not already locked before that time? Are there wicked angels in the pit in Rev. 9:11? If the beast "ascends" from the pit in Rev. chapter 11, where was the beast before that time? Does your view agree with Peter in 2 Pet. 2:4, and Jude in Jude 1:6, when they both said wicked angels are already in chains of darkness? Revelation 9:14 proves some of the angels were previously bound in some manner. Because the two witnesses were bodily resurrected from the dead in Revelation 11, the "first resurrection" at the beginning of Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the book. The principle of "Recapitulation" means there are multiple visions of His return.

I thought I was listening to something about the thousand years, but then Dr. Tour switched over and said he was talking about eternity 19:24. I'm still not clear on all of this, even after listening to most of it. When scholars say that they don't know how to interpret the idea of a thousand years, they are not denying the resurrection, the judgement, the reign of Jesus, the peace, the prominence of Zion, etc. All of those things are separate matters to consider.

Indeed all gifts do come down from the Father of Lights as James 1: 17 says, yet do not suppose that it is to believers alone, as we all know of marvelous inventions from unbelievers. These too are gifts from God as ALL gifts come down from the Father of lights. As Jesus said: He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous alike.
Dr. Tour, The millennium and new creation aren't the same thing. One comes before the other. It is my own personal conviction, which I believe the scripture teaches that the millennium is now. The church is a foretaste of new creation.

John 18:36 ESV Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.” Acts 1:6-11 ESV So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” Acts 7:55-56 ESV But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. And he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” Hebrews 1:3-4 ESV He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. Ephesians 2:4-7 ESV But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-by grace you have been saved- and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Christ doesn't have to wait until a litteral physical future millennial reign from Jerusalem, he's on the throne ruling now, and us and the saints (martyrs) are with him.
@@rocketmanshawn Wrong. The Kingdom was not set up in the first century. When Jesus said "the Kingdom is in your midst" he was merely stating that he was the designated King of the future Kingdom. It was not established until the "appointed times of the nations" were fulfilled centuries later.
'Three epochs in comparison: Bible passages: Isa 32, 1; Romans 8, 20-22; 1 Cor 15, 28; Hebrews 1, 12; 2 Pet 3, 12, 13, 18; Rev 21, 1 "For the creation was subjected to futility (not willingly, but because of him who subjected it) in the hope that the creation itself also should be set free from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of glory of the children of God. For we know that all creation is groaning with us and in travail until now.” (Rom 8, 20-22) *Today's time of grace* is marked by creation groaning and in travail. *In the millennium,* creation will be set free from the bondage of perdition to the liberty of the glory of God's children. Finally, when time will pass into *eternity,* the present creation will be rolled up like a cloak and transformed (Hebrews 1, 12). Then God will make new heavens and a new earth where there will be no more sea (Revelation 21, 1). *Today's time* is characterized by the presence and activity of the Holy Spirit on this earth. In a way, it's the day of the Holy Spirit. *The millennial period* will be marked by the glory and reign of the Lord Jesus on this earth. It is the day of the Lord (Isa. 13, 9; Joel 2, 11; 1 Thessalonians 5, 2). *Finally, the day of God or the day of eternity* describes the eternity that will follow the millennium (2 Pet. 3, 12.18). Then God will be all in all (1 Cor. 15, 28). *Today's day of grace* is a day when justice on this earth suffers. *The day of the Lord* will be a day when righteousness will reign on this earth (Isaiah 32:1). Finally, *the day of God* will be a day when righteousness will dwell on this earth (2 Pet 3,13).' Daniel Melui
I have been taught that Jesus will reign and rule for 1000 years after the tribulation. During this time, the government will be on His shoulders. He will reign with an iron rod (swift justice) and that His enemies (some who qre born into the millennium) will therefore yield fiegned obedience (cringe before Him) Ps 66:3. During this time the devil will be bound. At the end of the 1000 years, the devil will be loosed and in a brief rebellion will lead the feigners against Jesus. They loose. At that time only believers remain to observe the remaking of the heavens and earth by new heavens and new earth. I don't think the millennium and new heavens and new earth are the same. Thank you Dr. Tour for your testimony and working so hard for the kingdom of our Christ Jesus.
The world was a very different place before the flood. Gravity was at least 1/3 of what it is today. The fossil record shows the epic size of flora and fauna pre flood and that is only possible if the gravity on earth was much weaker. This and other environmental factors is why people were able to live such long lives in the time of Noah.
Please James could you draw up on a chalk board the chemistry that shows that scripture is the Word of God. I'm not sure I can believe this assessment unless you yell it, while drawing pictures.
The Bible has two main points: 1-The role of Son of God in the redemption of mankind and: 2- the correction of all people who ever lived from Adam and Eve on during the Thousand Year Reign, also known as The Kingdom of God. The human race, starting with Adam and Eve was allowed for a while to see the effects of turning back on God. The experience with evil was necessary to see what it brings and how much we need to let God stay in control. This experience with evil also presented the possibility to highlight the attributes of God, which otherwise would not have been possible to experience and appreciate. THE 4 major attributes of God are: LOVE, JUSTICE, POWER ad WISDOM. We saw that once the human race became imperfect due to the fall in Eden, the impossibility of returning to perfection and life eternal became apparent. God gave the LAWS, which, if kept, would have allowed the keeper to obtain life eternal. But,.....the LAWS of God can only be kept by a perfect human being, and no perfect human being was born after Adam's fall. The other solution was the EQUIVALENT price paid by someone, so that the JUSTICE can be satisfied. This second solution was fulfilled by the Messiah, over 2000 years ago. The human race have now access to life eternal, courtesy of the Payer, the second perfect man, who was able to keep God's Laws. A perfect man for a perfect man. Jesus for Adam. The first to see and taste of this possibility were the believers who realized that an escape route has been provided and, having Faith they join their Redeemer. Because they had this Faith and they chose righteousness during this life, they receive a bonus: Co-Regency with Jesus. This also implies a change of nature from human to spiritual and not just any spiritual plane but the highest plane in the spiritual realm: the divine plane where the LORD dwells, above the spiritual nature of angels. Like any bonus, this also has a limit in time and number. Once the number of faithful and their time is fulfilled, the bonus expires and they return to Earth to offer the rest of mankind the possibility to obtain the eternal life. As such they implement on Earth the promised Kingdom of God, a Kingdom ruled from the spiritual realm by Jesus and His Bride/Church which were pictured in OT by the Levites, the tribe who had a special calling, of spiritual nature. This is the time which was also prefigured in OT by the ruling of Joseph in Egypt, or described by prophet Daniel, who described the demolition of man's image and kingdom only to be replaced by a Kingdom which will never be replaced, or by the prophet Isaiah who describes in ch. 25:6-9 how people will have their spiritual blindness removed and will enjoy the Creator's presence and will feast with Him, how the time has come that the knowledge of God will fill the Earth like the waters fills the oceans (11:9) how God will open a highway of ascension to righteousness and perfection to all willing (ch 35) or how God will not allow any harm/evil to happen "on his holy Mountain" (ch. 65). The Millennial Reign will see all the verses of OT and NT fulfilled, verses such Ezek 16:55 or Job 19:25-27 or Isaiah 2:2-4 or Acts 14:11 or Psalm 96 etc etc etc etc
A friend of mine posted this the other day, concerning the Millennial kingdom and the end of the 1,000 years: The Millennium & The End of the World Jeremiah 25:33 And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day (2nd / final return) from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. (The starting of the millennium). At the second coming of Christ. His holy angels slaughter everybody on the Earth, which is how/why Satan is bound for 1000 years because there’s nobody to deceive because everybody’s dead that’s on the earth during the millennium. Revelation 20:2-3 [2] And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, [3] And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Psalm 110:5-6 [5] The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the DAY OF HIS WRATH (second/final coming.) [6] He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. Jeremiah 4:23-28 [23] I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. [24] I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. [25] I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. [26] I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger. [27] For thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end. [28] For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it. Zephaniah 1:2-3 [2] I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the Lord. [3] I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the Lord. Revelation 20:4 describes what we shall be doing with the Lord during the millennium, while we’re hovering over the earth in New Jerusalem. During this time, as all those other verses prove that nothing is alive on the Earth during the millennium, Satan is waiting and planning his final assault which takes place at the end of the 1000 years. Revelation 20:5,7-9 [5] But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. [7] And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, [8] And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. [9] And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. At the end of the millennium, the Resurrection of the Damned happens, then Satan deceives the lost for a final time, and they make their last and final assault on God and his people who are in new Jerusalem then fire from heaven, comes down and devours them. The earth becomes the/a/thee lake of fire. There’s no magical fairy land called the lake of fire. Revelation 20:14 [14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (There’s no infinite magical place where people are tormented eternity) The Earth, Satan, and his demons, and all of the lost, all partake in the lake of fire, which burns until the judgment is complete. Once the judgment has been completed, we shall walk on the ashes of the wicked and see God make a new earth. Malachi 4:3 [3] And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts. & Revelation 21:1-2 [1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. [2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Boom & done! The millennium is complete and we live with the Lord now forever and march into eternity.
Not man decides / determines 'truth'. God's word, the Bible, is Truth (John 17, 17). Hebrews 1, And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: 11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; 12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. Revelation 20, 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. 2 Peter 3, 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. That is between the Millennium and the new heavens and the new earth. But after the Millennium before the dissolving of the old creation: Revelation 20, 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. From the judgement (sheep and goats) over the nations according to their behavior during the great tribulation to the people of Israel we know the purpose of the lake of fire Mt 25,41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, *into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:* John 3, 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
How do you know God exists? Because the bible tells you so. How do you know the bible is true? Because it's the word of God..... Anyone notice a flaw in this logic? And don't tell me you have evidence the bible is true because you don't, not for the important supernatural parts.
In revelation 20 after the verses about the 1000 years we read Revelation 20:11 KJV [11] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Then the final judgement. Then chapter 21 we read Revelation 21:1 KJV [1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. So the new heaven and new earth are not the 1000 years of revelation 20. The new heaven and new earth are our eternity.
Dr. Tour is a brilliant man and I respect him for not caving in to the criticism from his colleagues who discredit the Bible. It is very unfortunate, though, that he has learned Christendom's false doctrines that are LIES. I hope he learns the truth so others can also benefit but truth is NOT in the teachings of the churches.

According to God's word, the Bible, the Revelation of Jesus Christ, chapter 20 deals with the Millennium. New Heaven and New Earth after Satan's last Rebellion and the Great White Throne Judgement of the unbelievers.: Rev. 21+22. In this video 0:33 ff where Dr. Tour says '... that this new heavens and new earth is actually a fairly common thing often speaking of the millennial kingdom ...'. That is obviously FALSE and not the word of Truth rightly divided in accordance with the whole context of scripture. The millennial kingdom on earth (it may be a pretaste of what God has in store for us in eternity, but it is not the eternal state!!!) and the new heavens and the new earth are different ages, the first: 1000 years here on this earth, the second: new heavens and new earth in eternity. 2. Apparently the Earth will be a wandering planet "No Need for the Sun", hurtling through the vacuum, if we imagine that the vacuum of space as we know it, will exist then. Spaceship Earth
Revelation 21:23 And *the city* had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. The "city" being spoken of is the New Jerusalem, which will be massive and in all likelihood, it will orbit the earth. To the residents within, since there is "no night there" (Rev 22:5), it will seem as one eternal day...

============================================================================================================== Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order ) Christ returns one time in the future.
2 Tim. 2, 15 - You are mixing a lot of things falsely together not rightly dividing the word of Truth! - 2 Corinthians 5, 1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Philippians 3, 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. 16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. 17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. 18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) 20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. 1 Corinthians 15, 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Thess. 4, 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Corinthians 15, 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming [Body of Christ: 1. Cor. 15, 50-58; 1 Thess. 4, 13-18; Tribulation Saints: Rev. 20, 4]. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. Rev. 20, 4 ... and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. After the first resurrection in Christ there is no one left to be resurrected IN CHRIST!!! That's the difference: 1 John 5, 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
@@Morewecanthink "Rightly Dividing" is understanding the differences between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. @@Morewecanthink Verse 20 above is proven in the example below. Who is really teaching “Replacement Theology” ? (Did God fulfill His promises to the Jewish people at Calvary? Matthew 26:28, John 19:30) The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations? 1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants? (See Paul’s interpretation in Galatians 3:8.) 2. Who is replacing the one people of God in John 10:16, with two peoples of God ? 3. Who is attempting to replace the Church made up of all races of people, with one made up only of Gentiles? Why did Peter address the crowd as “all the house of Israel” in Acts 2:36, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted Christ on the Day of Pentecost? 8. Based on Hebrews 9:15, the New Covenant cannot be separated from the Messiah’s death. Is the covenant in Daniel 9:27 connected to the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26. Is the covenant with the “many” in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the “many” in Matthew 26:28? If it is, some have replaced the New Covenant in Daniel 9:27 with a future covenant made by an antichrist not found in Daniel chapter 9. (See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.) 9. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? Watch the TH-cam video “Genesis of Dispensational Theology” to see the origin of this man-made doctrine, which is less than 200 years old. It was brought to the United States about the time of the Civil War by John Nelson Darby. The doctrine was later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, and then spread through much of the modern Church. Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas was created in part to promote John Darby’s Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology. Lewis Sperry Chafer, the first president of Dallas Theological, had the following to say about the difference between Israel and the Church:
“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.” Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107. Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.” Lewis Sperry Chafer. Systematic Theology. 1975. Vol. IV. pp. 315-323. John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated… "...it is an article of normative dispensational belief that the boundaries of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants from the Nile to the Euphrates will be literally instituted and that Jesus Christ will return to a literal and theocratic Jewish kingdom centred on a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.” John F. Based on 2 Peter 3:10-13, is this earth “eternal”? Will it be replaced by a new earth? Based on Acts 2:36, and Romans 9:6-8, and Romans 11:1-5, and Hebrews 12:22-24, and James 1:1-3, can faithful Israel and the Church be separated into two different groups? Who is the New Covenant promised to in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and is it fulfilled by the blood of Christ at Calvary in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 12:18-24? Will modern Orthodox Jews ever be saved outside of the New Covenant Church, if the New Covenant is “everlasting” in Hebrews 13:20? (See also 2 Thess. 1:7-10) If the New Covenant has made the Old Covenant “obsolete” in Hebrews 8:6-13, why would God go back to the Old Covenant system during a future time period?
@@SpotterVideo - Not man and his teaching constructions from picking and choosing bible verses decides / determines truth. God's word, the Bible, is truth (John 17, 17). - From the whole context of scriptures it is clear that the Church is NOT Israel and that Israel is NOT the body of Christ. The 'Israel of God' are members of the body of Christ who are Jews in Christ. Read Ephesians 2. - Jeremiah 31, 35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
I greatly admire James Tour and respect the fine work he's doing in science. But eschatology is not a topic everyone should attempt to teach. In this case, his view (which is quite popular, no doubt) is, I believe, incorrect.
Dr. Tour, Revelation 20-21 indicates that the 1,000 year reign is first, then the Great White Throne Judgement, and then this universe is replaced with the New Heavens and New Earth. As far as Isaiah 65, we have two things being described. Verse 17 refers to the New Heavens and New Earth, in which NO death occurs (Revelation 21:4). From verse 18 on, we see the 1,000 reign, in which death still occurs (verse 20). Now the animals in Isaiah 11:1-10 and 65:21-25 are the people groups within the same verses. These are the oppressed and oppressors. The animal imagery is being used to show the extent of the peace between peoples and nations during Christ’s reign. This type of illustration (people described as animals) is found throughout the Old Testament prophetic books (Major and minor prophets).
If this earth is remembered no more in Isaiah 65:17, and there is no more crying or weeping in verse 19 of the passage, and the end of the curse is found in verse 25 of the passage, can there be death in verse 20 of the passage? No. Why the confusion? Verse 20 begins with a negative statement... "There shall be no more thence..." Everything that follows the word "thence" will not be found in the New Heavens and New Earth, including death. The end of verse 20 shows the problems in translating from Hebrew to English.
@@SpotterVideo , I’m not sure why you’re confused. Death is clearly indicated in verse 20. This is the 1,000 reign, not the New Creation. Scripture often jumps in the timeline without necessarily spelling it out. Verse 25 says nothing about a curse being lifted, and animals never had a curse put on them. The Serpent (a singular individual), later said to be Satan (Rev. 12:9). As the LXX indicates, he was curse “from among” (independent of) the beasts. “On your belly you shall go and dust your shall eat,” are used elsewhere to describe being humbled and humiliated. In fact the “two seeds” are spiritual. They are believers and nonbelievers seen in the very next two chapters. The idea of an animal curse is nowhere in scripture.

What does verse 25 say about the interaction of animals? If the animals were not cursed, why do they eat each other now? Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
@@SpotterVideo , You have apparently not read through my posts, or you wouldn’t have to ask these questions. As far as animals eating other animals, you seem to be under the assumption that they were originally all vegetarian. That isn’t supported in scripture, nor is there a scripture telling of their change in diet. Death was an original part of creation, even for man. The entire purpose for the tree of life, was to keep man from dying. You seem to have a lot of YEC assumptions that aren’t biblical.
@@Detectken You said..."From verse 18 on, we see the 1,000 reign, in which death still occurs (verse 20). " Why is there no more crying or weeping in verse 19, if death is still happening? The Kingdom of God will be on earth; Jesus Christ will reign from Jerusalem for 1000 years. In the 8th Millennium, Jesus Christ will hand the Kingdom to His Father. God Himself the Creator will dwell on earth with His creation as all inhabitants will also be immortal. So, where does ‘heaven going’ fit in?
No, the Kingdom rules from Heaven, not from the earth and there won't be ANY human Governments or nations left in existence after Armageddon. The earth will be wiped clean of ALL nations and their divisions, only the Kingdom will rule over the entire planet. The only ones with immortality are Jesus and the 144,000, that's all, not even the angels are immortal and certainly no humans on earth. God will never dwell on earth, the earth would burn to a crisp if He approached, He will never leave His place in Heaven. Someone has told you a bunch of lies.
Happy Father’s Day Jim. This doctrine is based on only one verse from the Bible. Tell me where else in doctrines is just one verse is used to establish a doctrine? Remember that this view is believed upon in less that two hundred years. When Jesus returns, will he find faith? When Jesus came the first time, the religious ruling party didn’t recognize the Messiah when he came. Remember, this is modern belief your putting your faith in. John Nelson Darby started this occidental belief idea. So, we now know more that the early church fathers and most Christian believers? We need to debate this American and European doctrine! You wonder why Christian in other parts of the World don’t want to know about our American Jesus? We need to be faithful and honest with our Exegesis and Hermeneutics of the Scriptures! Be consistent and honest. Debate this new doctrine in an open debate!
Amen brother, the millennial kingdom could be likened to a sabbath day's rest for God's people, where the Christ sits and rules supreme over the nations and a fully restored house of Israel. It will be at this time, when the rest of the Messianic prophecies will be fulfilled, thereby fulfilling ALL of Scripture, before creating a New heaven and earth (something that will stay new, perhaps no longer subjected to entropy) when the former will neither be remembered nor come into mind.
That's simply not true brother. "Millenialism" or "Chiliasm" was believed by many of the early church "fathers".. in fact, Amillenialism was first taught by Augustine whom is considered the "father" of Amillenialism..
EPHRAEM THE SYRIAN (AD c. 303-373) We now go back to two centuries after the apostles. Ephraem is venerated as a “saint” by the Catholic and Orthodox churches, but they would not allow him to teach his doctrine of prophecy today. Ephraem is called “the Syrian” because he lived in that region. He was a voluminous writer. Many of his sermons and psalms are included in the 16-volume Post-Nicene Library. (The Council of Nicea was held in AD 325, and historians divide the “fathers” into Ante-Nicene, before 325, and Post-Nicene, after 325). Some of Ephraem’s sermons and hymns are used in the liturgy of Orthodox churches. In the 1990s some of Ephraem’s writings were translated into English for the first time, one of these being On the Last Times, the Antichrist, and the End of the World, A.D. 373. The translation was done by Professor Cameron Rhoades of Tyndale Theological Seminary at the bequest of Grant R. Jeffrey. It was subsequently published in Jeffrey’s 1995 book Final Warning. It is obvious that Ephraem believed in a literal fulfillment of prophecy, including a Rapture of New Testament saints prior to the Tribulation. “For all the saints and Elect of God are gathered, prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins” (Ephraem the Syrian, On the Last Times). Observe that Ephraem taught that the saints will be taken to the Lord so they will not see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world, which is exactly what 1 Thessalonians 5:3-9 says. Ephraem taught a literal antichrist who will sit in a literal rebuilt temple in Jerusalem, a literal 3.5 year Tribulation, a literal Two Witnesses or prophets who will preach in Jerusalem, a literal battle of Gog and Magog. “And when the three and a half years have been completed, the time of the Antichrist, through which he will have seduced the world, after the resurrection of the two prophets, in the hour which the world does not know, and on the day which the enemy or son of perdition does not know, will come the sign of the Son of Man, and coming forward the Lord shall appear with great power and much majesty, with the sign of the word of salvation going before him, and also even with all the powers of the heavens with the whole chorus of the saints. ... Then Christ shall come and the enemy shall be thrown into confusion, and the Lord shall destroy him by the Spirit of his mouth. And he shall be bound and shall be plunged into the abyss of everlasting fire alive with his father Satan; and all people, who do his wishes, shall perish with him forever; but the righteous ones shall inherit everlasting life with the Lord for ever and ever” (Ephraem the Syrian, On the Last Times, the Antichrist, and the End of the World, A.D. 373). Ephraem believed in the imminency of the return of Christ and urged Christians to live godly lives in expectation of His return.
EARLY CHRISTIANS TO AUGUSTINE Actually, Ephraem the Syrian was not alone in interpreting Bible prophecy literally in his day. He was living one generation from the era of Augustine (354-430), at which time there was a dramatic change. When Ephraem died in 373, Augustine was 19 years old. It was in the era of Augustine that allegoricalism widely replaced the previous method of interpretation. Prior to this, it was common among Bible believers to interpret prophecy literally. They believed that Christ would return literally (and imminently), bind Satan, and establish a literal millennial kingdom on earth. This is admitted by church historians. William Newell says: “The early Church for 300 years looked for the imminent return of our Lord to reign, and they were right” (Newell, Revelation). Phillip Schaaf said, “... the most striking point in the eschatology of the ante-Nicene age [prior to AD 325] is the prominent chiliasm, or millennarianism, that is the belief of a visible reign of Christ in glory on earth with the risen saints for a thousand years, before the general resurrection and judgment” (History of the Christian Church, 8 vols, Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co., 1960, 2:614). Henry Thiessen says, “It is clear ... that the Fathers held not only the pre-millennial view of Christ’s coming, but also regarded that coming as imminent. The Lord had taught them to expect His return at any moment, and so they looked for Him to come in their day. Not only so, but they also taught His personal return as being immediately, with the exception of the Alexandrian Fathers, who also rejected other fundamental doctrines” (Thiessen, Introductory Lectures in Systematic Theology, p. 477). In fact, Augustine, “the father of amillennialism,” once believed in a literal millennium himself. He said, “I myself, too, once held this opinion. ... They who do believe them are called by the spiritual, Chiliasts, which we may literally reproduce by the name Millenarians” (Augustine, City of God, book 20, chapter 7). The following statement by Irenaeus is an example of what was commonly believed among the early “church fathers,” as they looked forward to Christ’s return and the establishment of His kingdom: “The predicted blessing, therefore, belongs unquestionably to the times of the kingdom, when the righteous shall bear rule upon their rising from the dead; when also the creation, having been renovated and set free, shall fructify with an abundance of all kinds of food, from the dew of heaven, and from the fertility of the earth. ... In like manner [the Lord declared] that ... all animals feeding [only] on the productions of the earth, should [in those days] become peaceful and harmonious among each other, and be in perfect subjection to man” (Irenaeus, Against Heresies, The Ante-Nicene Fathers). The church at Antioch long interpreted Bible prophecy literally. Antioch was an important church founded by Barnabas and Paul, and it is from this church that the first foreign missionaries were ordained and sent out (Acts 11:19-26; 13:1-4). It was at Antioch that the believers were first called Christians. Some of the preachers associated with Antioch were Lucian (died 312), Theodore (AD 350-428), Chrysostom (AD 354-407), Theodoret (AD 386-458), and Diodorus of Tarsus. These men interpreted Bible prophecy literally and believed in a literal millennium. In his History of Interpretation, F.W. Farrar observed, “Diodorus of Tarsus’ books were devoted to an exposition of Scripture in its literal sense, and he wrote a treatise, now unhappily lost, ‘on the difference between allegory and spiritual insight’” (Farrar, pp. 213-15). “The Antioch’s school’s two greatest exegetes, Theodore of Mopsuestia (AD 350-428) and John Chrysostom (AD 354-407), were ‘anti-allegorical’” (Matthew Allen, “Theology Adrift: The Early Church Fathers and Their Views of Eschatology,” bible.org). Some of the early Christians after the apostles even taught a form of dispensationalism. Examples can be found in the extant writings of Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Tertullian, and Methodius. Justin Martyr (100-165) believed in four phases of history in God’s plan: From Adam to Abraham, from Abraham to Moses, from Moses to Christ, and from Christ to the eternal state. Irenaeus (120-202) taught something similar, dividing the dispensations into the creation to the flood, the flood to the law, the law to the gospel, the gospel to the eternal state.
It is truly astonishing that intelligent scientists like you accept the prophet Jesus as god. The truth is that Jesus is a prophet like his predecessors Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Muhammad who came after him. Why did God not incarnate in previous prophets but in Jesus? Moreover, Jesus ate, drank and shopped like us. He was praying to God. How do you defend the Trinity? How does defending the Trinity differ from logically attributing creativity to unconscious and helpless molecules? We Muslims, too, believe that Allah created this universe with a wisdom of everything that we see and cannot see, witness or not. Jesus was also praying in the name of Allah. "Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was." Chapter “Imran family” Verse Number: 59 Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]." Chapter “Imran family” Verse Number: 64 And mention, [O Muhammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east. And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man. She said, "Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allah." He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy." She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?" He said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed.' " Chapter Meryem Verse Numbers: 16-21 All prophets brought Islam, only there are some differences in their sharia. Let's say this, and let's not equate Allah, who is our Lord and yours: “Say (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)): "He is Allah, (the) One. "Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks). He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent." Chapter İkhlas( sincerity ) “And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen. I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness. If You should punish them - indeed they are Your servants; but if You forgive them - indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. Allah will say, "This is the Day when the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness." For them are gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them, and they with Him. That is the great attainment. To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is within them. And He is over all things competent.” Chapter Maideh(the table sending down from the heaven) Verse Numbers: 116-120 O Allah, you are peace. Peace is from you. You have given blessings, O owner of greatness and gracious. May the peace of Allah be upon you

The Saints who take part in the first reasurection will have eternal bodies.. They will never die again.. The nations / people's that survive the tribulation and the Redeemed Remnant of 144,000 of the 12 tribes of Israel will live longer lives and will have children as before.. But they will be ruled by Jesus and the Saints.. I did not hear James talk of the following scripture that speaks of this 1000 year kingdom in scripture.. Zechariah chapter 14..
Because he hasn't everything completely right by now and is mixing the millennium on this earth and the eternal state of new heavens and new earth together. But as he is honestly seeking the LORD I trust that he will allow the Holy Spirit to lead him into all Truth. 2 Tim. 2, 15!!!
I respect Dr James as a great nano tech scientist but this where things get a bit confusing. Christians scholars themselves say the Bible has contradictions how does a snart man like this can't see that the Bible is not the word of God. Rather it is a collection of books and letters written by men who have no biography. We don't even know who these writers were.
Some clever people don't seem to realise that cleverness is often limited to areas they have studied. Some clever people think they are experts in life because they have a degree in something.
It is not smart, to believe and think that God's revelation to HIS human creatures had any contradictions. Contradictions is only what a restricted human mind which makes himself to the ultimate standard is reading into the Bible.
I have to make a correction, Jesus Kingdom is Heavenly, it will rule from Heaven, NOT on earth. All nations will be destroyed including Israel, there will no longer be a Jerusalem. Any reference to Israel and Jerusalem is speaking of Israel in a spiritual sense, Paul called it the "Israel of God". (Gal. 6:16) Jerusalem is also symbolic, the reference is to "New Jerusalem", a Heavenly spiritual "city" which is the "Bride". John writes: “One of the seven angels . . . spoke with me and said: ‘Come here, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.’ So he carried me away in the power of the spirit to a great and lofty mountain, and he showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God and having the glory of God. Its radiance was like a most precious stone, as a jasper stone shining crystal-clear.”-Re 21:9-11. She is composed of the members of the glorified Christian congregation, the 144,000. The congregation on earth was likened to “a chaste virgin” to be presented to the Christ. (2Co 11:2) Again, the apostle Paul likens the Christian congregation to a wife, with Christ as her Husband and Head.-Eph 5:23-25, 32.

It also tells us that we are in the end times & to expect a worldwide system of false worship to be applied by a combination of church & state. While it obviously depends on the print size a typical bible has about 1500 pages & therefore contains a lot of information for anyone prepared to compare scripture with scripture, you are free to keep writing about invisible beings and magical books since it obviously makes you feel clever but until you can actually prove the scripture wrong you are just making a noise.
Nothing like the Word of God from the strongest believer, Dr. James Tour ❤
But if you go to Jesus' words that we CAN trust, He says in Matthew 24: 15:
“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ a spoken of through the prophet Daniel-let the reader understand- then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains."
So Jesus tells us the tribulation begins when Daniel describes the abomination that sets up desolation. In fact after telling a bit more about it in verses 17-20, Jesus then confirms this in verse 21 saying:
For then there will be great tribulation, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again.
It says:
He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. ”
So does this happen at the beginning of the seven years?
The Scriptures plainly state that Christ’s sacrifice “abolished . . . the Law of commandments consisting in decrees” and that God “blotted out the handwritten document against us, which consisted of decrees . . . and He has taken it out of the way by nailing it to the torture stake.” It was the complete Mosaic Law that was “abolished,” “blotted out,” taken “out of the way.” (Eph 2:13-15; Col 2:13, 14)
Obviously, the 70 "weeks" were completed in the first century, there are no left over 7 years to apply to the tribulation.
2; Rev. 13; Matth. 24, 15].
Jacobs's trouble, Daniel's 70th week, the great tribulation:
Jeremiah 30, 7 Alas! for *that day is great, so that none is like it:* it is even the time of Jacob' trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again."
Now I ask you- did that happen at the crucifixion? And what about other places in Daniel where it tells about the abomination that sets up desolation? There are actually four of them. Daniel 11: 30-32 for instance says about it:
"Then he will turn back and vent his fury against the holy covenant. He will return and show favor to those who forsake the holy covenant. His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him."
So does that sound like Jesus to you? Your denomination is badly mistaken.
Happy Father’s Day, Jim!
We love you Dr Tour.

[9]After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
[10]And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Revelation 7:15-17 speaks of God as ‘spreading his tent over them,’ of their being guided to “fountains of waters of life,” and of God’s wiping “every tear from their eyes.”
At Revelation 21:2-4 we find parallel expressions: ‘God’s tent being with mankind,’ his ‘wiping every tear from their eyes,’ and ‘death being no more.’ THE VISION THERE PRESENTED IS CONCERNING PERSONS NOT IN HEAVEN, BUT ON EARTH, AMONG MANKIND.
(Ps 1:5; 5:5; Pr 22:29, AT; Lu 1:19)
The sum of the evidence, therefore, points to the “great crowd” as representing all those persons who are not of the heavenly “bride” class, or 144,000 sealed ones, but who stand approved at the time of the “great tribulation” and are preserved alive on earth.
Revelation 22:14-15 KJV
Now back to your numbers.
The passages about them say that there
are 144,000 male, virgin Jews.

and the great white throne judgement of the unbeliever (no one who is partaker in the first resurrection will be judged before the great white throne) according to their deeds without any consideration of Golgatha.
Everyone gets what he chooses.
WOW 🥀🕊️❤️🔥🕊️🥀WOW
New Covenant Whole Gospel:
Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18.

Yes. You have to rightly divide which verses talk about salvation and which verses talk about discipleship. Salvation = free. Discipleship = Costly.
@@SpotterVideo - Revelation 20 is not new heavens and new earth.
=================================
Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order )
Christ returns one time in the future.
(The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.)
There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46.

You have to be a gift from God to this age Dr. Tour because of your scientific discoveries with hydrogen generation by decomposing waste plastic, generating hydrogen and graphene at the same time, while ridding the waste plastic. Who else could have developed such a great process than a child of the King?
Indeed all gifts do come down from the Father of Lights as James 1: 17 says, yet do not suppose that it is to believers alone, as we all know of marvelous inventions from unbelievers. These too are gifts from God as ALL gifts come down from the Father of lights. As Jesus said: He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous alike.
@@paulbriggs3072 absolutely right. I wouldn't dare try to deny what scriptures plainly tell us.
@@FrankPCarpi Good for you. I still have some of God's gifts given to me when I was an unbeliever.
Dr. Tour,
The millennium and new creation aren't the same thing. One comes before the other.
It is my own personal conviction, which I believe the scripture teaches that the millennium is now. The church is a foretaste of new creation.
If so, how far into the millenium are we ? How many years ago did Satan rule for 7 years and make people take the mark of the beast ? Why isn't Jesus in Israel ? Where are the saints ?
@mkovis8587 yes, Jesus said that "many will come from the east and the west and SIT with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven"..
WHEN has that happened?
I can't see the replies as of yet. But I would like to share some scriptures that speak of the kingdom having arrived in the 1st century:
Matthew 3:1-3 ESV
In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.’”
Luke 17:20-21 ESV
Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”
Matthew 4:17 ESV
From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Mark 1:14-15 ESV
Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand;repent and believe in the gospel.”
John 3:5 ESV
Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
John 18:36 ESV
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”
Acts 1:6-11 ESV
So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
Acts 7:55-56 ESV
But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. And he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”
Hebrews 1:3-4 ESV
He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.
Ephesians 2:4-7 ESV
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-by grace you have been saved- and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
'Three epochs in comparison: Bible passages: Isa 32, 1; Romans 8, 20-22; 1 Cor 15, 28; Hebrews 1, 12; 2 Pet 3, 12, 13, 18; Rev 21, 1
"For the creation was subjected to futility (not willingly, but because of him who subjected it) in the hope that the creation itself also should be set free from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of glory of the children of God. For we know that all creation is groaning with us and in travail until now.” (Rom 8, 20-22)
*Today's time of grace* is marked by creation groaning and in travail.
Finally, *the day of God* will be a day when righteousness will dwell on this earth (2 Pet 3,13).'

You are absolutely correct! 😃
Glory to the Lord
The whole point of theology is respectful dialogue, unlike contemporary politics, which is fascistic.
A friend of mine posted this the other day, concerning the Millennial kingdom and the end of the 1,000 years:
The Millennium & The End of the World
Jeremiah 25:33
And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day (2nd / final return) from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. (The starting of the millennium).
At the second coming of Christ. His holy angels slaughter everybody on the Earth, which is how/why Satan is bound for 1000 years because there’s nobody to deceive because everybody’s dead that’s on the earth during the millennium.
Revelation 20:2-3
[2] And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
[3] And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Psalm 110:5-6
[5] The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the DAY OF HIS WRATH (second/final coming.)
[6] He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
Jeremiah 4:23-28
[23] I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
Zephaniah 1:2-3
[2] I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the Lord.
Revelation 20:5,7-9
[5] But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. [7] And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
[8] And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Revelation 20:14
[14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (There’s no infinite magical place where people are tormented eternity)
The Earth, Satan, and his demons, and all of the lost, all partake in the lake of fire, which burns until the judgment is complete. Once the judgment has been completed, we shall walk on the ashes of the wicked and see God make a new earth.
Malachi 4:3
[3] And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.
&
Revelation 21:1-2
[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
[2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Boom & done! The millennium is complete and we live with the Lord now forever and march into eternity.
Tell your friend he has no idea what he's talking about, that is a bunch of malarkey.
From the judgement (sheep and goats) over the nations according to their behavior during the great tribulation to the people of Israel we know the purpose of the lake of fire Mt 25,41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, *into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:*
John 3, 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
How do you know God exists? Because the bible tells you so.
How do you know the bible is true? Because it's the word of God.....
Anyone notice a flaw in this logic? And don't tell me you have evidence the bible is true because you don't, not for the important supernatural parts.
In revelation 20 after the verses about the 1000 years we read

[11] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Then the final judgement.
Then chapter 21 we read
Revelation 21:1 KJV
[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
So the new heaven and new earth are not the 1000 years of revelation 20.
The new heaven and new earth are our eternity.
You are 100 percent correct. Have you read Aronald Fruchtbaum's work Footsteps of the Messiah? It is a great resource.

It is very unfortunate, though, that he has learned Christendom's false doctrines that are LIES. I hope he learns the truth so others can also benefit but truth is NOT in the teachings of the churches.

==============================================================================================================
Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order )
Christ returns one time in the future.
(The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.)
There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46.
2 Tim. 2, 15 - You are mixing a lot of things falsely together not rightly dividing the word of Truth! -
2 Corinthians 5, 1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

@@Morewecanthink "Rightly Dividing" is understanding the differences between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant.
(John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18.

Who is really teaching “Replacement Theology” ?
(Did God fulfill His promises to the Jewish people at Calvary? Matthew 26:28, John 19:30)
The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations?
1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants? (See Paul’s interpretation in Galatians 3:8.)
2. Who is replacing the one people of God in John 10:16, with two peoples of God ?
3. Who is replacing the one seed (Christ) in Galatians 3:16, with the many seeds?
4. Who is replacing the children of the promise in Romans 9:8, with the children of the flesh?
5. Who is replacing the faithful “remnant” of Israelites in Romans 11:1-5, with the Baal worshipers?
6. Who is replacing the word "so" in Romans 11:26, with the word "then"?
(See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.)
9. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? Are they promoting a form of Dual Covenant Theology based on race? (See “genealogies” in Titus 3:9) Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1? 10.
“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107.
Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer. Systematic Theology. 1975. Vol. IV. pp. 315-323.
John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated…
"...it is an article of normative dispensational belief that the boundaries of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants from the Nile to the Euphrates will be literally instituted and that Jesus Christ will return to a literal and theocratic Jewish kingdom centred on a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.”

(See also 2 Thess. 1:7-10) If the New Covenant has made the Old Covenant “obsolete” in Hebrews 8:6-13, why would God go back to the Old Covenant system during a future time period?

@@Detectken What does verse 17 say about this earth?
Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Why is there no more crying or weeping in verse 19, if death is still happening?
Isa 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

We now go back to two centuries after the apostles.
EARLY CHRISTIANS TO AUGUSTINE
Actually, Ephraem the Syrian was not alone in interpreting Bible prophecy literally in his day.
The following statement by Irenaeus is an example of what was commonly believed among the early “church fathers,” as they looked forward to Christ’s return and the establishment of His kingdom:
“The predicted blessing, therefore, belongs unquestionably to the times of the kingdom, when the righteous shall bear rule upon their rising from the dead; when also the creation, having been renovated and set free, shall fructify with an abundance of all kinds of food, from the dew of heaven, and from the fertility of the earth.

I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. (Gal. 6:16)
Jerusalem is also symbolic, the reference is to "New Jerusalem", a Heavenly spiritual "city" which is the "Bride".
