It’s time for Linus to give Luke another contractually-obligated free PC upgrade. And it’s another Pokemon themed one. It’s got the best gaming CPU, Graphics Card and Memory, but with a catch… Linus’ kids are putting it together. GOOD LUCK, LUKE!

You know Luke sees this as truly priceless given the memory and fact Linus’ kids helped build it. You know he’ll never get rid of it.
Major facts. This needs to be at the top.
Honestly I'd feel the same way for this
That's not the reason though 😂 He's waaaaay too stingy that's why
24:18 "I mean, what's in it? Is that part of the mystery?"
"It's grass."
I'm ded AF 😂🤣
"This screw is so small, it would be a shame if it... fell on the floor" Linus' son is so funny, perfect deadpan humor
That kid will be going places!😁
I Died! 🤣
It sounded like a threat!
When one of his daughters said "You'll see in a bit how we do" it slayed me.
You stole my pfp lil bro 💯
2:00 like father, like daughter...
physically an yvonne clone, mechanically a linus clone
i was looking for this lol
The apple doesn't fell off far from the tree, but it does fell off.
Yep and the dropping gene always will be in the family
I came here to say the exact same words 😂😂
8:00 I could see Linus' head saying: "You are going to get an 8 TB drive once you turn 18"
honestly it feels better to have to much than to little.
i killed my ps4 drive by constantly installing new ps plus games. i think my ps3 is also a victim of that :(
had to buy a 4tb ssd and never had to renew it after.
Luke was born first LOL

Sounds like a Luke problem

Yeah...the cat is less of a problem than my Cockatiels were...messy creatures.
"Do you want me to hot glue it to your head?"
"Yes please"
...
"wait"
hol up
"Right could be either way" "He gets really good grades"
This type of thinking is WHY he gets really good grades. I had to figure out as a kid, that righty tighty refers to the TOP of whatever you are screwing. The TOP goes to the right. I've been set ever since. but I was very confused how a circle was "going to the right" for years as a child. Circles don't spin left or right, they spin clockwise or counterclockwise.
They should change it to "clockwise lockwise"
@@Nikifuj908 that's a good one!
...That I'll unfortunately forget.
That's exactly how I thought at that age. It wasn't until later that it was so ingrained it seemed obvious. Einstein called stuff like that a "beginner's mind". It can be detrimental, but it can also be very insightful.
this just brought up an old memory
As far as I know, there's no "righty tighty lefty loosy" equivalent in my language, and I thought it was also confusing that a circle could go left or right. The combination of realising it's from the top and learning the English "righty tighty" made my life so much simpler. Still I occasionally do it wrong if I have to work at a weird angle.
3:41 I love how it cut away before he touched it
it's like having multiple Linus' in one video, need more build videos with them
luciiiii
Definitely!
Nothin wrong with more vids with "more linus" in em
And the bit of Halo footage looked pretty promising
The best thing about this build is that if something goes wrong it could just be a charmander computer instead
You're wrong for this 😂

“Is this computer gonna suck like his last one?” DANG! His son is SAVAGE! lol 😂
he was right too
"Luke doesn't have any hairy pets" - sure but have you seen the man himself
Lmaooo
He is the pet
2:24 His son just chilling the first chance he gets is so relatable.
Very relatable😴
I love when Linus does videos with his kids. They are so naturally funny and just trolls Linus all the time. Except in this video they were also trolling Luke. They also did a REALLY good job with that PC. I really like its ascetic and it pops why more once you get the lighting in.
23:07 "The Bulbasaurs are having some protein" 😂
I love how linus's reaction to breaking a fan blade is "I should break some more" not "we have CA glue right here I can just glue it back on"
Good point 😆😆😆
...or just going and grabbing another fan
I think it might be because the extra weight from the glue might affect the fans balance, if you break off the opposite blade, the fan will still be balanced
Right, because having a loosely glued piece of plastic spinning at thousands of revolutions per second is a great idea.
@@Gabu_ What do you mean? just add more glue.

(enthusiastic little voice): "Everything!"
It was absolutely adorable

1:43 the first thing his son says is a burn. Oh do I love this already
This was one of the most fun LTT videos I have watched in a while. The interaction between Linus and his kids is so wholesome and funny.
12:24 for example. And I want to point out how well behaved these kids are. Always saying "please", thats really nice.

@@defeatSpace He already did, in one of the extreme tech upgrades he said "beat 'em while they're young, so they fear you but they won't remember why"

Hence he argued "first born privilege" to his little boy. Wouldn't make sense if he was actually Linus' first born, not Luke! 🤣

I'm glad to see they are taking after their father in the dropping equipment catagory.

A moment of silence for all the warranties that were voided this day.
Yep, like You can have your free PC, as promised, BUT how it looks is going to be up to a group of kids AND its going to depreciate during the building process. Good plan Linus. An annoying BIOS startup screen ('This Cost YOU NOTHING' in flashing pink and green graphic lettering) that's burnt in to a soldered on chip would have been great too!!
Probably one of the coolest builds I've seen. My brother picked bulbasaur when we first got our pokemon red and blue and he would love this.
This is such a great build honestly. I love this so much, so wholesome and enjoyable!
When the kids arent "acting" or doing a line read they can be genuinely hilarious. The part where the one daughter found the end of the vine got me good
Boy has really gotten big since he built his first PC with Linus
You mean "thing 1" xD But yeah, time really does that to kids.. All too fast
Kids seem to stay small forever, and bam turn away and as if by magic, they start growing like weeds. I miss my kids being this young. Son is grown, got married and gave me a beautiful grand baby and my daughter (19) has been out of the nest for over a year.
1:05 lil dude just pulled bag of weed out of his pocket.
Omg that synchronized “me please” was so cute.
Linus chaos managing his kids is adorable to watch
23:06 'the bulbasuars are having some protein' laid me the heck out lmaooo
this felt wholesome. To see you work with the kids was great.
This was an awesome video and i bet your kids had fun. It turned out pretty cool and id definitely do something like this when i build my own PC
The moss will definitely dry out and yellow, but after that it should be pretty shelf stable as long as it doesn't come into much contact with water, which it won't really in a pc.
Chinese AIO sends his regards.
@@stalincat2457 not really a "Chinese aio". but if it did take a leak i think your moss getting wet is your least concern
Just kinda depends on the type used I've had moss that's dried out for years and stayed green the entire time
Could be good kindling to keep Luke warm.
@@noodlelynoodle. I guess my luck must've just been bad with moss type. I use quite a bit of it since I like making small terrariums and all yellowed for me in not fully enclosed setups.
Your daughters did an amazing job at decorating, that's one of my favorite PCs on the channel.
1:07 the weed bag lmao. that's cool xD
Luke: “Birds produce a lot of dandruff”

Seeing David intertact with the kids just gave me wholesome vibes
5:15 will in l the top moments in a few years
David just being an agent of chaos being the camera again. Then totally pops in to help! Also totally love the family fun and how Luke is just all for it! It did turn out pretty good for all the kids crafts in the end!
12:17 I've thought this about "righty tighty" so many times, but I've never heard anyone else voice it.
That's why it's probably better to just remember "clockwise" as it's rotational motion. A point moving right is only true depending on the position of reference.
Imagine the back of your hand gas eyes and wants to look to the right :)
@@Lavafish2525I know what you’re saying, but now I’m more confused than ever.
Or the point of reference from right and left always stays at the top. Once you choose the sides as a point it gets confusing.

Its genuinely a really nice build- with exception to the real moss which..could end up causing some issues but I do love it.
12:18 and that’s why clockwise and counterclockwise is the superior term
Except with today's kids, you would need to spend the next 30 minutes explaining how an analog clock works, and putting up with the "wow, you're old" sass.
😅
@@morosoph That's why I use deosil and widdershins, so long as you remember to screw something IN like you are summoning and screw something OUT like you're banishing you're good, and what kid doesn't know basic goety?
From the screw's POV, clockwise is wrong.
They are, but righty and lefty are also very valid terms. The kid is wrong, but he doesn't know any better.
On an X-Y plane, the origin being the center of the circle, if we were to plot the circumference of a circle.. we would define the points using the radius of the circle. So doesn't matter which orientation you draw the axes in, you will always be describing first the radius on positive x-axis with zero angle. And as the angle increases from 0 to 360 (in degree, both being the same reference angle), you will have to move your line plot to the left of the original reference line.
All that is to say that righty and lefty is not from our perspective, neither using the "top" or "bottom" as the reference like some people have commented. The righty and lefty is described in relation to the zero degree reference line that describes the radius. Left movement describes a positive change starting from zero, right movement defines a negative change in angle starting from 360.
@morosoph Basically every school classroom has an analog clock on the wall lol
That computer will be an ultimate "no u" to everybody telling luke to touch some grass...
Get out xddddddd
"Get off your computer and go touch some moss or something."
2:00 - Linus being her dad finally confirmed and caught on tape
8:38 never ask a kid that in your life again
I think this are the best LTT videos... Building a PC with a twist. The kids helping, Sarah building her first PC, the ROG series, the blindfold one, the wives, the oil PC, the pyramid, the desk PC, etc.
And this one in particular is one of my favorites. I really like the way that LMG brings in the families, and Linus's in particular. It never feel exploitative, the kids (or partners) generally have fun and its done so sporadically that each time is special.
12:16 Kid is SO right. Clockwise = Tighten is the only truth you need
watching you break the fan blades is painful
It happens.
@@SrApathy33 I see a lot on used marketplaces, but how do you even manage that? I mean I've gotten many fingers in fans, but I've never broken one... you're gonna have to be pretty rough with them to break them... but then again I have also never broken a phone screen in my life, despite not using screen protectors and cases. I guess I just don't possess the kind of talent people like Linus have.
I've done it on 6 or 8 bladed fans before works relatively well
Seems like it's easier to do on clear plastic fans - the old black plastic fans never seemed to care what we did to them
@@clintmash245 If we somehow are able to turn Nokia's into fan blades, we wouldn't have this problem. I mean you could technically maybe turn the displays into a fan blade display. (Not sure if the refresh rate would be fast enough, tbh not sure what would be the limitation but I have a feeling only static images would work)
Truly in the blood 2:01 😅
omg... this build is hilarious 😂😂
I love the involvement on his kids, its adorable to watch them follow after their dad (funny when the kid dropped the container on the floor). (I cant remember their names) I am very happy to see the kids learning things like this, because the future seems to be leading to be run by computers, and because of the skills theyre learning they can make it quite far in life. Also the comedy is gold
3:45 mini linus is staring at the camera straight up like blue steel LOL
I relate to this kid lmfao he's digesting the environment 😂 must be quite a trip to be on that side
"I am never leaving this agreement" is the only right answer.
The Blue only mode of the RGB makes it look like a pond at the bottom
This needs 2nd part to see how much time it holds.
This was SUCH a great video! Also one of the funniest ones I've seen on this channel, so good! Plus the build turned out fantastic, really well done!
