If you notice Dushane and Sully have both swapped roles from the start of series 1. Sully has become a nicer and less power hungry man by the end of series 3 and Dushane has gone from a nice man to a self centred man controlled by the notion of being at the top. Brilliant writing

Kano is an amazing actor. He is probably the best one out of the bunch. Coming from a grime back ground to acting is tough. But Kano really makes it natural. The character development in the new Topboy of Sully is absolutely stunning. I loved every scene sully was in. In Topboy summerhouse his not as experienced. But in the new series he really shines.

The part when Jason dies had me BAWLING!!!! That poor kid, as Sully said had 'no luck in life'. That poor kid went through the upmost worst, and the way he died just left me feeling so angry and heartbroken, which I imagine it's exactly how Sully felt. That little kid as we knew him as a little boy from the previous season, was like a son to Sully and their relationship was so beautiful and pure to see as Sully looked after that kid as though he was his own. Even telling Jason about his daughter and how his daughter is family to him as Jason is family to him. I wish Jason was alive longer. It would have been so beautiful and touching to see Jason enjoy seeing an Arsenal match with Sully, to see his little face light up as his been through way too much and due to the tragedy of how his mother died. That kid went through way too much, too early to the point that he was numb to pain, numb to danger and numb to seeing violence happen right in front of his eyes and he already experienced it all physically, too young. In closing Sully hands down was the absolute star of this new season, such incredible multi-dimensional character development and supberb acting from him. We saw him experiment every single emotion and what his character change from being so physical ready to fight/kill, to now being more thoughtful to act and more humble. In The Sully Story, they forgot to show the scene where Sully went back to Ramsgate to avenge Jason and the part of when the pain of how Jason died the way he did made Sully feel suicidal, of how he went to the sea to contemplate ending it all and the emotional song played with the words 'it might be easy on the other side.... Not here' :(

What I personally find intriguing about this character is the question of motivation. Most characters are driven by some deeper purpose that informs their actions and makes their moves somewhat predictable (like protecting Steph/Aaron in the case of Jamie or business neutrality/corporate ethics in the case of Ruben). It is this knowledge of what characters find most important and valuable that helps us understand their personality and make sense of their choices and behavior. Yet, Sully seems to defy all psychological classification, like a non-human that is somehow conscious of the many forces that influence him and terrified that he is unable to know what they will make him do next. He can be compulsive, compassionate, rational, ruthless, childish and completely spaced-out in the same day. Not to get too deep, but there is surely something surreal and existential about his character. The dude is constantly starring into an abyss.

I think show did a real good job of making you feel for Dris towards the end. Especially that moment with his daughter where he was wanted to share a moment but it just felt distant and disconnected. Character development was great. He was a real hothead in the 2011 series. Prison and losing friends (Mike and Jason) can have a sobering effect.
When Jason died, I could see Sully change instantly. It was soo sad.
I think him witnessing Jason die is what broke Sully and afterwards he just fully gravitated to the dark side and accepted whatever came with it.

Sully killing Dris is such a great scene but still one of my least favorite scenes to rewatch. You could see the pain in Sully’s eyes. Even though Dris had to go, it hurt him to do it.

I think show did a real good job of making you feel for Dris towards the end. Especially that moment with his daughter where he was wanted to share a moment but it just felt distant and disconnected. Only making his death more hard hitting again when he didn’t even get to say bye. Though he may still be alive I doubt it

bruh dris is alive , after the gun shot happened , where was no sound of a body dropping and u can hear him still breathing , listen closely , dris was the one breathing hard and that breath didnt stop even after sully shot , and also minutes before sully saw dris with his daughter so why would he
