The God father of Saipan all looks massarap hard to choose little bit everthing so I guess I'd head to the Taco Bell those soft taco wraps wonder if they same as here in the mainland the taco bell there just curious great vidio
Back in the 90s and early 2000s there was decent restaraunts on every corner. There only a few that remain today, OLEAI, WILD BILLS, Kinpachi and GodFathers. Some of the Faves long closed was Bobby Cadillacs and Round Two. Seen Saipan change from the sweat shop days of long ago, to todays drastic post COVID and Typhoon YUTU and MAWAR struggles. Hope they find a way to recovery. Love the song selection! Thanks for listing them in the description.✌🏻🍻
Ninety four people have watched this video, and only 18 have "liked". PEOPLE!! it doesnt cost you anything to "like'. I want to also say that I do not know how you resist this food. It looks and I bet it smells awesome. If I lived there, I would have to go to each and every restaurant and eat. One a day at least. I love this video!! Wish I was there.
Oh yeah, first time I had Kelaguen was on Guam, I was fortunate enough to have a good friend who prepared some Deer Kelaguen for my first experience. It was Awesome! 😁
Great important video Mark. Music choice and editing is also great! Thank you! If you don't mind my asking. From your experience there, would I be safe if I budgeted $700 a month for two restaurant meals each day? Second, as I watch the daily news station from there it seems they always leads off with some arrest report or a court case that is happening. It makes it look like crime is a big deal. My gut tells me crime is NOT a big deal. How safe do you feel living there?
As far as the Budget for Food, if you want to eat out everyday, you could eat one Meal at one of those Buffets (Most are around $15) they are all you can Eat, so I don't think you would need to do that Twice a Day. Most Meals at the Restaurants are around $15 to $25 on an average. A Hamburger here costs around $16 I Live on a lot less than $700 a month for Food but I only eat out Once a Week. I don't think you are going to be able to eat out at a Restaurant Twice a Day for $700 a month. Unless you are going to the Filipino Restaurants, they are a little Cheaper. That you could do for $700 a Month. But your Average Restaurant is going to Charge you at least $15 a Meal, (not including Tip) and Double that (Twice a Day) comes out to $900 a Month. I can buy a Large Jar of Peanut Butter and a Loaf of Bread for $15 and Live off that for 5 Days. So you CAN Live off $700 for Food, but you won't be able to Eat out anywhere you want to go. You would have to Probably stick to the Filipino Restaurants or just eat one Meal a Day. You Watched a News Station from SAIPAN?? I didn't know they even HAD a News Station 😁 If you are talking about KUAM that's GUAM Not Saipan. For Saipan News I Recommend Checking out Saipan Tribune, they are going to put you more in touch with What is happenin around here. Do I feel Safe here? No. That's the Short Answer. Is it Safer than Mexico? YES Way Safer than Mexico. Is if Safer than San Diego California, YES YES YES! MEXICO was Safer than San Diego California! North Carolina just got Wiped out by a Hurricane some Believe was MAN MADE! So unless you are living in the Mountains Somewhere in a Cabin, where you are coming from is most likely more Dangerous than here. Since I have been here I was ripped off by a bad used Car Deal, then Ripped off again by the Mechanic who I took the car to to FIX the Problems with the Car, and he wound up Stealing the Car from me, fixing it then giving it to his Son and I Lost $2700. for NOTHING. Then I was Punched in the head by a Teenage kid when I was walking home Drunk after drinking 8 Beers in the Park, because I said "Hi" to his Sister, he Knocked me out Cold sucker punched me because I had no intention of fighting a teenage kid, and when he knocked me out I fell to the ground and dislocated my Shoulder and Tore the Tendon on the Top and got a Severe Concusion, and split my head open. The Cops never did anything about it because the kid was Chamorro. So do I feel Safe Here, No, not at all. I don't hang out with anyone unless I have worked with them or know them well enough. And I don't go to the Bars or Hang out at night when all the Bad Guys are looking for Trouble. HOWEVER Here there is No Antifa, There is No BLM, there is no Universal Hatred for White People like there is in the U.S. Government, for the most part if you are not Drunk alone in the Park like I was, you most likely won't have any problems here. Although one could say,...I Drank in the Park in Chalan Kanoa every Weekend from 5pm to 8pm and I only got Punched in the head Once in Two Years. So that's pretty good average right? 😁 There are no Gettos here, there are no Immigrant Shelters, the YOMTV Gangsta Wanna bes are very Minimal here, in GUAM there are LOTS of YOMTV Gangsta Wanna bes. Not so much here. Also I would stay away from the Homeless around here, because they tend to attract alot of the Bad Guys because no one else will hang out with the Bad Guys except the Homeless. Know who you hang out with, that is what I recommend. Know who your Neighbors are before you move in. Otherwise you could put yourself in a Bad Situation. My Rule of Thumb is I don't associate with Anyone unless I have a very good Reason to. This will minimize your Problems if you do this. Gradually you will learn who you can Trust. I recommend Learning Tagalog, Korean, and Chinese, that will make you a lot of friends. 😁
Yes but Maragritas are not a "Thing" here like they are in Mexico. There are a couple Mexican Restaurants you can Order a Maragrita, ,most Bars know how to make you a Margarita, I think if you go to Oleai Cafe by the Beach they will make you a Margarita, but you never see any Signs for Margarita Specials here like you do in Mexico.
