You have certainly set the table for an epic comeback. I will be watching with pen and paper ready to take notes while you show us how to go from 40 nucs to a bee empire. This would make an outstanding reality series for Netflix. You already have 60% of the story on tape. Good luck! 💪 👏 🤞

Thanks for that. 100 hives will be just fine for me.

Question please. Adding stickies to Brood is there a rule of how many stickies to insert. Could there be a risk of wax moth / SHB .. due to the size of the brood to get the stickies into production?? Or save the stickies for the super. placing new foundation to draw in the brood. leaving new comb to lay in ? Many Thanks and great Vid.

Yeah it's a valid point. They will clean them up pretty quickly & enjoy the feed. They wouldn't have drawn foundation. I will put a frame of honey/pollen in them tomorrow morning to give them something to go on with. They just need a bit of help. Not unlike me. 😄

If they don't like the plastic, why do you use it for, wax foundation is the way to go, works for most of us.

Hey Keith, they aren't my hives. I use plastic foundation successfully in my own hives. They prefer to draw them on a good flow in the honey super. They are reluctant to draw them in the brood box which is what has happened in this hive.
