AN ART OF BAMBOO BASKET WEAVING

The rural people of Dancalan Malinao Aklan is known from its own bamboo basket weaving products such as Nigo and Kaea-Eaw. Kaea eaw and nigo is a Aklanon dialect term for Winnowing Baskets.
This industry is the main source of livelihood from that barangay aside from agricultural farming.
