Most Tongans can very much tell when other Tongan style lei’s are made specifically from other Tongans or not, as well as knowing and differentiating the styles between other islander nations and how they make their lei’s. This is done meticulously Tongan CSI style observation: the materials and/or flora that is used, down to the glue and twine knots (which entails what step they took first and so on afterwards in the process making them). Can’t convince us otherwise that this isn’t true 💁🏽♀️ #iykyk
