Just curious about that black bear at the beginning is that a male or female it looked real bloated or pregnant

Bears put on a good amount of weight before winter sets, I think this is just a very healthy male. Bears don’t birth cubs until late January- Feb so I don’t think it’s that.

So beautiful to see wildlife! Thanks for the video. Does your camera run 24/7? Just curious :)

Thank you Joanne! Yes all 10 trail cameras run 24/7 and all year long. Have been like this for over 10 years now although I only had a couple cameras initially

Never had one on the past 10+ years if running cameras year round. A lot of people saying they are out there though so who knows.

I hit a Turkey while I was driving on Route 402 in the Poconos a few years ago. The driver of the car behind me was laughing. I could see him cracking up in my rear view as feathers were floating everywhere.
When I got home in Bethlehem, I saw Turkey feathers, blood and my hood has a 4 inch diameter dent and my hood moved 1 inch out of alignment. The next day my repair shop found feathers in the engine compartment and they were amazed at the damage from hitting a "butterball."
BTW, I have no idea if Mr Turkey survived.

You see so many turkeys and deer on the side of the road these days. That was probably a bit scary too. It really doesn’t surprise me how much damage it was not necessarily because it was a “butterball” but because wild turkeys are like extremely lean, pure muscle, solid like a rock. Thanks for sharing! Glad you didn’t get hurt. Last year I “bumped” a Canadian goose as it was lifting off and a guy driving was dying laughing… your story made me think of that haha. It was fine bc it kept flying but I bumped it pretty hard off my windshield. (On accident obviously as it decided to take off from the side of the road and flew right at my car)

It's cool that you have deer friends, but she was warning you that something in that bush didn't belong and instead of you getting a long stick, broom or anything to beat at the bush to scare whatever off you chose to instead just record. I think you need to LISTEN to your deer friend more.
