Great piece! But I can't help but think if this was a true signature series model they would've gone to the extra lengths to refine the carbon work and add extra engine detail.
I agree with the others in the comment section. I've got Autoart models from the golden days, such as the huayra, agera and f1. These models are amazingly detailed and feel great. After getting the aventador SV, I was disappointed by the lightness of the model. I have maistos that are heavier! The generic boxes are also a disappointment. I hope that if AA continues this path, they will at least reduce the prices of their models.
To be honest, I don't think AA will reduce their prices at all. They now make models that are cheaper to produce and their profits are larger, something that THEY wanted at the sacrifice of details and quality of their models. People will still buy their models, just not the long time collectors like me, unless they only make a model that no one else does that I want!
Hi @ROBS MODEL CARS, Thank you for demonstrating this video. Among all 1/18 KOENIGSEGG diecast cast, which brand (e.g. AutoArt or other brands) and model (e.g., ONE or Agera) is your top choice based on the detail of the model? I would like to get one model with equally detailed as AUTOART 78272 1:18 PAGANI ZONDA R REVOLUTION. Thank you
No Koenigsegg models exist with the same detail as the Zonda R Revolution. The diecast AA Agera is good, the ONE:1 is not as detailed and major QC issues
Model didn't comes in black box (signature series)... Model didn't have COA (signature series)... AUTOart didn't label it in their site as signature series... meaning, the model is Millennium series. Thank you very much for this review. The model looks really nice in white. I thought to buy the blue color, but this color also looks good.
Great review mate. I like yourself have been privileged to be collecting for a good few years now. But over the last couple of years my main emphasis has been to collect only older diecast models. My main goal as of now is to complete the whole Autoart 1/18 Signature range collection, but as you know the costs have sky rocketed as a result of these silly composite/plastic toys flooding the market.
Beautiful model, congrats! I really wished Autoart made the doors with movement that is more accurate to the 1:1. I know this is do-able as Fronti-art also makes a few openable Koenigsegg models such as the Regera with accurate “dihedral synchro-helix” door actuation. Also, i think Autoart did away with their Certificate of Authenticity when they killed their Signature line / diecast models which is a total shame. Anyway, stunning model nonetheless and will be adding this and a few additional colors as well. Awesome display case btw! Cheers!!👏 😎
TH-cam up until recently was downgrading my video's, but now it seems they are back to 1080p. I have always uploaded them in HD1080p Enjoy the clarity:)
I really enjoy your reviews and builds. The only part that I would recommend improvement on is the audio. The microphone sounds too far away and it makes it a little bit harder for me to understand what is being said.
front splitter and rear spoiler on my Lexus LF-A nurburgring edition are gloss carbon and much better I don't even talk about Veyron SS or Zonda R, and the same about suspension
I do have the diecast Agera as well, so putting the 2 side by side they both look good. It's only when you pick them up that the new One:1 feels cheaper. The diecast Agera IS a better model though, but prices for these are through the roof
I bought one myself and the paint, detail and parts quality is impressive but the use of molded plastics and iffy panel gaps are certainly of concern for the price, plus mine has rough rolling rear wheel bearings. Overall though this wont effect the fact that its the only fully opening One:1 available *guess that's why I bought it*
Kinda disappointed with the composite path Aa is going, poorer qc and budget. Luckily Almost Real models is here to provide near Aa signature level opening diecast.
Nice review but not impressed about the model, i have the FrintiArt version which in my opinion is better. I want AutoArt to go back and make models like Pagani Zonda R etc.....
I had this model sitting next to my Fronti-art One:1 and it really showed the lack of quality by AA for the money. I have actually sold this model on already.
@@ROBSMODELCARS yeah so disappointing, I was a huge Aa fan back in the days when they were the reference and you could get a top of the line model for only $70!!!

I just found the high end model to buy. This one!
My heart dropped when he took the car upside down 1:42

This is one hypercar I wish to own in my dream but wish to own the 1:18 autoart model like what you have. Beautiful piece!

I would like to see how the big scale F40 is going

Cheers Juju, see you on DX
Can you please do a detailed comparison with the frontiart especially the carbon details? Thank you..
Yes, I plan to do a side by side comparison of those 2 models. Stay tuned
ROBS MODEL CARS thanks Rob..
Got my hopes up, especially since it costs so much. Not too disappointing though, still a very stunning model. Cool review!
Where do you get your Fararri models at? AA does not carry Farrarri and I’m having trouble finding them. Thank you.
Looks like autoart have used changed their manufacturing supplier. Kyosho did this on their lancia delta series was disappointed
Awesome review Rob. Love mine
Cheers Steve
If you haven't check Unusual43 they have a couple of FrontiArt Koenigsegg models that have openings
I know about the Frontiart opening One:1, but they are close to US$1000, so out of reach of most. For me, that is too much money for just one model.
can you please tell me how to understand if the (Autoart) model is in limited edition or not?
ALL new Autoart models are NOT limited. Only the older Signature series models that came with a COA are limited
Nice review Rob, great 👍
I just bought this model because I know that it will shoot up in value. Just like the AUToart Koenigsegg Agera and the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster.
Did you change your camera ? I see 1080p is available !
TH-cam up until recently was downgrading my video's, but now it seems they are back to 1080p. I have always uploaded them in HD1080p
Enjoy the clarity:)
hi,
can you compare Fronti Art model to this model ?
Yes, I am going to do a side by side comparison video
You should do a review on Autoart nissan skyline gtr R34 v spec in bayside blue
I don't have that model, sorry.
@@ROBSMODELCARS maybe buy the model from autoart or from other model car stores
No plans to buy that model.
Amazing! Just a question are you going to be getting any pieces from Almost Real? I hear they're doing opening diecast Pagani models.
I would love to get the AR Pagani's, but I don't think they will be released any time soon.
first next year
Dear Rob I just bought one of these, I was wondering how does it compare in overall length to the FrontiART Regera and to the FrontiART One:1?
I really enjoy your reviews and builds. The only part that I would recommend improvement on is the audio. The microphone sounds too far away and it makes it a little bit harder for me to understand what is being said.
Good thing I watched this video! I was almost going to buy this. (Not Diecast)? What...
It doesnt comes with the roof? although the boot unable to put in real car but it does have the roof to put on though.🤔
I think the price is going to drop on these, the quality is not like old autoart models
price went up no drop
i Will be adding the Blue version
Nice, that color will look good!
front splitter and rear spoiler on my Lexus LF-A nurburgring edition are gloss carbon and much better
I don't even talk about Veyron SS or Zonda R, and the same about suspension
Should I buy this or Lamborghini sesto
Hi Rob. Just wondering if this car is a good one compare to the diecast agera from autoart.
I do have the diecast Agera as well, so putting the 2 side by side they both look good. It's only when you pick them up that the new One:1 feels cheaper. The diecast Agera IS a better model though, but prices for these are through the roof
@@ROBSMODELCARS hahaha yes I have the diecast agera R in red and in my country its now around 2000$ 😅
My big bro.how much u buy this model.i have this model is carbon fiber.i pay $300.is good price?
I bought one myself and the paint, detail and parts quality is impressive but the use of molded plastics and iffy panel gaps are certainly of concern for the price, plus mine has rough rolling rear wheel bearings. Yes, the biggest letdown for me is the textured plastic carbon. Not acceptable on a US$270 model.
Kinda disappointed with the composite path Aa is going, poorer qc and budget. Luckily Almost Real models is here to provide near Aa signature level opening diecast.
AA are not going back to diecast, so get used of the composite! AR models will be great, but the supercar models from them wont be out until 2019
The composite line is crisper than diecast and capturing the model more accurate. The most important AA is avoid diecast cancer
Wouldn't the paint go yellow overtime due to oxidation? 🤔
No, not on a plastic body
@@ROBSMODELCARS thanks!
When can i get this car model😭😭😭😭😭
Does the suspension works?
NO
Hi Rob, where can I buy one?
I got mine directly from www.autoartmodels.com
Thank you so much! Great review by the way :)
What’s this car made of?
Composite body (plastic) with a diecast metal chassis to add weight
@@ROBSMODELCARS ok thanks dude
@@ROBSMODELCARS i got a 2006 ford gt in a silver with the white stripes but i think its diecast
@@ROBSMODELCARS and a very light mclaren p1 gtr in volcanic orange
nice
Do it come with the roof?
Yes, it comes with the roof. I forgot to show it
Ok good, cause i was gonna a buy it. Thanks!
What is the price of these car
Nice review but not impressed about the model, i have the FrintiArt version which in my opinion is better. I want AutoArt to go back and make models like Pagani Zonda R etc.....
Unfortunately, AA will never make models like the Zonda R again. Those days are gone.
The quality control is horrible. The rear wing was 90% off on mine. Many people are finding parts falling off
Seem to be a big car like my autoart MC12 1:18
Not as long as the MC12.
Again! Should I buy the Koenigsegg One:1? (Check our Rob's Model cars first just to be sure...) YEP! AUTOart should be paying you commissions, mate!
Commission? haha, that would never happen from AA
The term is called called tampo printing not tampon printing. God knows what you are talking about !!
I see what you mean XD
I bet that costs a fortune ... Btw this comment went out before I started watching the video
Nice, but the prices are getting stupid. Think aa killed the hobby for a lot of people. And still qc problems at this price is out of order.
I dont like resin model as they arent functional like the doors, cant see the engine etc etc
:)
ridho
Yeah i think they don't give enough for what kind of money they ask... :/
Not worth the money imo
