have you tried this build without shield? fpe is naturally tanky and with proper positioning and attack timing it shouldn't be needed. wouldn't adding another dps skill greatly improve dps?

As the raid get harder, you're more prone to get hit, and having shield up helps a lot, especially for class using Curse Doll.
