I still remember the day you performed in Rio. Comeback strong in Tokyo
Yeah. I wish it could have happened in 2020 tho
I really hope the games will be this summer, I feel so bad for everyone who has put time, energy and dreams on this and then if they can't compete.
He went to tokyo?
Another reminder that what makes an athlete is not skill alone, but mental strength and perseverance. I got chills.
Man, I don't why I am crying.
Your perseverance pushes the human race
His story is so inspiring. I hope he gets it done in 2021!
Nope not yet
Such a strong man 🤎 keep fighting !
To be honest I am speechless after seeing all this ...it gave me so much strength and courage to make impossible dreams comes true...and I will...
Love from india...
Inspiring, I pray to god that he wins the Olympic Gold in Tokyo
Dipa Karmalar Ke baare me bhul gaya
He was 4th this morning in the rings final, sadly
I though the first clip was going to be of the accident. I was shaking as I watched 😵
Haha I literally had to pause the video to prepare myself before pressing play
Same
@@Hannah-dy6mh Ah ah I'm right now in pause at the moment he is in the air, I don't want to watch his leg again... Don't they cut before the moment we see his broken leg ?
Just found the bravoure to go ahead
@@nukdawn8529 they cut (late comment)
Les larmes au yeux... Quel mental !! Très belle leçon de vie, merci Samir !! Force à toi !! Respect.
True example of never give up ❤
I saw that leg-snap live… I’ve never gasped so hard in my life.
Samir : Tokyo 2020
Corona: Hmm .....Really Take more time For recovery and practice;
Watching this on my birthday, after a few difficult years and even more difficult period this year, his story leaves me in an overwhelming emotion I can't quite put into words. I am just grateful to hear his inspiring story, and to read all the kind words people left in this comment section, makes me happy to be a fellow human :))
Cheering for you at Tokyo 2020, here’s hoping for your Gold this time! You got this 🎉
Wow, quel parcours incroyable!! Tu as une volonté extraordinaire. Quelle force de caractere. Bonne chance pour les prochains Jeux!
Really respect this man, thank you for never give up and inspiring the world wide
I saw him live on TV falling after the vault and it was heart breaking. On top of the feeling of awkwardness that he was taken in crutches and nothing was ever said again for him making even the most insensitive spectator realize that each one of us is merely consumable.
He deserves the medal just by having the courage to show up in Tokio now, COME ON ‼️💫✨
Your Father is proud in heaven ❤️😇😌🙏❣️
I guess I know who I'm cheering for in the rings for Tokyo 2021.
I'm cheering for our Greek Olympic champion Petrounias. He will get the gold.
@@katerinapatiniotis5598 Petronias put Samir out of the podium today, sad
Goodluck. You're such an inspiration to everyone regardless atlethes or not. Godspeed.
Love you Samir Sir. Love from Odisha (IND)
Brother keep on reaching your dream your story is so touching
Ton histoire me touche énormément.
It’s heartbreaking to watch this while knowing that he got injured just a few days before the finals in Tokyo and placed 4th.
So that's what happened
It’s no less inspiring to me. He vowed to make it back and he did. Winning is about perseverance too.
Really what a strong person I am so so inspired from him....
His strength & perseverance is of the top level, far above the rest of people & what only legends possess. I still remember the accident in Rio. Amazing to see him come back so strong & as well sad to know that his dad passed away. Its even more special that he's a French Muslim man. Hope he's an inspiration to his Muslim community & not those stupid outsiders who try to divide them & use those Muslim people for all wrong reasons.. Wake up people, humanity comes before religion.
Such an inspiration ❤
Can't believe it, I watched his performance live when he broke his leg, I can't see that clip yet
A inspirational video. All my BEST wishes from Spain 🇪🇦💪
wishing you well!!! Do it for your dad. You have worked so hard to come back from a career ending injury.
Bravo!
I still remember the day I saw his accident
I was so chocked that it took me years to my mind blurry the image. Good to see that he's recovering!
This made me smile so much
I remember watching him live on the TV and I remember the clip when his foot broke and it was devastating. They work all their life for the chance to win in Olympics. I am so glad he has recovered.
I think Samir has to focus winning on Rings not other apparatus, last year he won 3rd place and defeating 2012 & 2016 Rings Olympic Champions at Worlds 2019
Amazing sport history, I'm happy to see you at tokyo💪🏻
Thank you very much!!!!great video.
Joder.
I just saw in his instagram post that he's a qualified physiotherapist 🔥 He's real inspiration for youth ♥️
Samir, good luck for you on Olympic Games 🙏 from Russia 🇷🇺 🙏🧡💙💜
His vault at the Rio Olympics scares me to this day.... But I really wish and pray that he gets all the success !! C'est vraiment une histoire merveilleuse.... Bonne chance à lui !!

I didn't watch the injury live, well I had no idea that he got injured until my mum told me about it. I am so glad that he recovered and I do hope that he qualifies for the French team going to Tokyo this year. His father will be proud.
