I take success as mini sucess and a big success. Like goals basically. But the overall success I want, is to feel free. Especially since nowadays everyone probably feels trapped, whether in their mind or a situation. Also success for me is to be able to make my stories and be able to support me and others.
The best definition of success imo really is happiness in this moment. The mentality of "I will do this thing so I can be happy when I complete it", as you described, just creates an infinite loop of wanting to be some place you're not, followed by a brief moment of happiness when you achieve it. But if your mentality is "I'm doing this thing because I love doing it", then you're successful every day. You're enjoying the journey, and the destination is just the cherry on top. Then because you're following your passion, that's when you truly develop skills that result in financial success because passion is the best state of being for learning and for activating creativity.

It's about dopamine and other brain chemicals and how they affect people's motivation, the reason some people never feel complete or content after they achieve the things they pursue, and a ton of other insights that will seriously answer a lot of your frustrations. I'd say the hardest part is in the second semester it's been really hard doing the 3D assignment but I'll keep on pushing to get it done that's the least I can do... I feel like it is, I can't talk to anyone about my upbringing. If I could I feel like I'd be easier to get rid of some trauma or be better at dealing with it. If it's about financial stability or sustainable income for your craft, then you'd have to be original enough and go out quite a lot. You'd have to go to museums, comic conferences, schools, and do whatever you should to market your manga to your consumers. if you can sell 200000 to 400000 copies of your manga, then it's a decent amount of success. So yeah, you'd have to not limit yourself to the internet and online publishing. In other words, you have to learn real world marketing skills.
I have a question, I've been drawing manga for about 7-8 months but I have a problem, since I started and so far I haven't made much progress, and I know why, because I only draw 1-3 times a week for about 2-4 hours because I'm too lazy to draw but I really want to become good at drawing manga but I don't know how to make a drawing plan because I usually only draw when I feel like it, if you could leave a comment or even you could make a video on how to get rid of boredom when drawing manga.
