I am the same way Nade. We all have to kind of learn to let everything fall into place and not contemplate about the future. I was in 2nd grade when 9/11 happened and it literally feels like it was a couple of hours ago when we were all escorted to a 3rd grade class to watch the twin towers fall. I'm 17 now and I can completely relate to what you're saying about how you overthink the situations that occur each day. I'm about to be a senior in high school, and I think about my future almost every day. Only I just can't stand the thought of going to school and getting a degree to do some boring desk job every day that I hate like a lot of other people are going to end up doing just because they were told when they were young that's the way you make the most money and that's what they need to do. I just see myself doing something else, something more. I know it sounds a bit cheesy, but I truly do see myself doing something more. Exactly what that'll be, I'm not sure yet. Been working with CoD and that's where my passion is at right now. It would be the greatest thing to work doing something I love every day and make money while doing it, but that's everyone's dream right?

Start off with online tournaments, get some pro points, then maybe play a few small Lan events. Remember that just because you go to a tournament doesn't make you a pro. Pick your teammates carefully and yeah, go on from there. And remember it takes time, this isn't something that will happen overnight no matter how good you are.

I'm from the UK so I can't give a perspective on grades but when I was 13, I had an accident at school which has left me blind in one eye, I will never have vision in that eye. It's basically like I'm walking around with one eye permanently closed. Having 7 operations on my eye, unfortunately there was nothing they could do to help recover my sight but yes, life does change fast.. after the accident happened I got to know who my real friends were etc. I'll always be thankful for the staff at the hospital who tried their best for me but nothing worked, they were supportive through-out the two years I spent in hospital/visiting for checkouts or more operations. It's made me realise not to take things for granted in life any more and to give more as a whole. I feel as if it's also helped me mature as a person with what I've had to deal with, ofc there will be other peoples situations out there that are worse than mine and my heart goes out to you and always be strong.

The fact that you're introspective and aware are, in my opinion, traits of an intelligent and philosophical person, and that means you'll continue to grow and mature. Hi Matt, the older you get the faster time goes.. Im 37 now and i remember September 11 as yesterday. I was 23, almost as young as you are now, living in London with My friends.. Time goes by very quick, and i love to se that you are doing the best of it. Myself is a father in Sweden, just bought my first house. I can relate to you in the sense that life can change fast. Tonight when I came home from class I was notified that a family friend of ours had taken his own life. I never really talked to this person that often, but it really showed me that you never know what people go through, and that life can change at any second. So sad.

Nade my man, I am currently 15 and I sometimes have something going on everyday of the week so I know where you're coming from. However, not for one second do I wish my life was less busy, because one day I will be old and unable to do all these amazing things like playing drums, football, soccer, acting, and I won't be able to ever go back to school and redo my advanced classes. So just enjoy what you have and see it through, cause in the end you're gonna be happy that you did all the amazing things you do!

dont worry nade, i was in highschool just yesterday, and here i am 9 years later. feels that fast. thats life. im sure your brother would say the same thing about his own life, and look how different it is then yours. its just growing up man. you live in a fantasy world. you wake up, play some games, make a video, get some cash ( i make it sound so easy, i know you work hard). you had this nice safety zone. now that you are venturing out of it, seeking independence. you will find that things move fast. but anything new seems fast, im sure you felt the same way your first shift at mcdonalds. im sure you felt that way the first time you drove a car. but when you gain experience with things, they slow down. its all comfort. its just like listening to a new rap song, once you learn the words, the song doesn't seem so fast.
So I just graduated my junior year in high school and I've been thinking a lot about this stuff as well like next year in going to be going to collage. Like all these kids who I've been so close to are moving out and having these grown up experinces and stuff like time flies and just the idea to take a step back and embrace it! Had the same thoughts the other day when my little sister graduated from High School. I saw my old friends there that I graduated with 4 years ago and used to talk to everyday. We talked about how fast time has gone by and how we all went our separate ways, it really is crazy how unaware of time we are while we're young.

Well in October 2014 one day I was in college and I woke up the next day not feeling well, I went to the hospital and I got diagnosed with stage 4 Hopkins lymphoma cancer. I'm still fighting my cancer and hopefully one day I'll get to go back to college.

I still live at home, and I am unemployed. However, this is not by choice. I stay at home to help take care of my parents. I know it is the right thing to do, but its one of those things that you wont make money from it, you wont be living on your own, and etc. I now find myself thinking how my life will be in the future, but instead of optimism I am filled with worry and doubt. How will I find a job in the future when my only credentials are college grad and helped take care of my parents. I worry if I will be homeless. What all this means is life has a way of taking unexpected turns, and people should appreciate what they have. Because there is no guarantee it will be the same tomorrow. I think back to 2011 when I was 11/12 years old grinding MW3 with my friends and how much of a great time we had. It's hard to believe that that was 4 years ago. That may not seem like a long time but it feels like it was just yesterday. I think about stuff like this all the time and think about what it's going to be like when I'm your age. One thing that has always blown my mind is how you can be having an amazing day 1 moment and literally the next in an instant it can just go to the worst. I feel you nade, throughout highschool I've been such a homebody I play video games, I depend on my parents, when I get sick my mom takes care of me. Now I'm enlisted in the us army with my ship date scheduled and RANGER school in my contract. It's so surreal. It feels like just yesterday it was just a dream.

I can understand what you're getting at. I'm 33 now about to be 34 in couple months and I always think about my future. I'm just now wanting to get into competitive COD. I've been the burger flipper, and now I'm a rent-a-cop (armed security officer for those who don't know). I graduate HS in 2000 and have been on my own for 15 years. Never thought I would be here back when I was your age. I still work towards fulfilling a dream of mine about being a professional games. Not to make fun of my age but I started gaming on the Atari before the first Nintendo ever came out. To bad life is so short I could have done so much more in my life. Oh well, maybe in the next one. the thing that makes me think that time has gone by so fast is when i look at all the cods that have gone by, And how much fun i used to have playing with all my school friends after i get home from school, trolling on s&d on mw2. and that i dont talk to any one of them anymore makes me pretty sad.
I'm not as old as you nade, but I remember sleeping over at one of my best friend's house for the first time during the 4th grade, and I remember we stayed up until 2 am playing Pokemon platinum version and Halo 3. It was one of the most fun couple of days I can remember. Now I'm going to be in the 10th grade next year and it seems so crazy how long it's been since then.

I was in 2nd grade when 9/11 happened and it literally feels like it was a couple of hours ago when we were all escorted to a 3rd grade class to watch the twin towers fall. I'm 17 now and I can completely relate to what you're saying about how you overthink the situations that occur each day. I'm about to be a senior in high school, and I think about my future almost every day. Only I just can't stand the thought of going to school and getting a degree to do some boring desk job every day that I hate like a lot of other people are going to end up doing just because they were told when they were young that's the way you make the most money and that's what they need to do. I just see myself doing something else, something more. I know it sounds a bit cheesy, but I truly do see myself doing something more. Exactly what that'll be, I'm not sure yet. Been working with CoD and that's where my passion is at right now. It would be the greatest thing to work doing something I love every day and make money while doing it, but that's everyone's dream right?

Start off with online tournaments, get some pro points, then maybe play a few small Lan events. Remember that just because you go to a tournament doesn't make you a pro. Pick your teammates carefully and yeah, go on from there. And remember it takes time, this isn't something that will happen overnight no matter how good you are.

I'm from the UK so I can't give a perspective on grades but when I was 13, I had an accident at school which has left me blind in one eye, I will never have vision in that eye. It's basically like I'm walking around with one eye permanently closed. Having 7 operations on my eye, unfortunately there was nothing they could do to help recover my sight but yes, life does change fast.. after the accident happened I got to know who my real friends were etc. I'll always be thankful for the staff at the hospital who tried their best for me but nothing worked, they were supportive through-out the two years I spent in hospital/visiting for checkouts or more operations. It's made me realise not to take things for granted in life any more and to give more as a whole. I feel as if it's also helped me mature as a person with what I've had to deal with, ofc there will be other peoples situations out there that are worse than mine and my heart goes out to you and always be strong.

I'm 22 as well, so I'm right there with you, man. Growing up is an uncomfortable process that never really ends--but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The fact that you're introspective and aware are, in my opinion, traits of an intelligent and philosophical person, and that means you'll continue to grow and mature. Life is a ride, dude... but no matter what, just know that you've got a group of good friends to whom you can always turn if you're having a tough time with something.

Hi Matt, the older you get the faster time goes.. Im 37 now and i remember September 11 as yesterday. I was 23, almost as young as you are now, living in London with My friends.. Time goes by very quick, and i love to se that you are doing the best of it. Myself is a father in Sweden, just bought my first house. Im gonna start a new chapter in my life now, im very exighted about that. ..still i am extremly exighted about BO3 aswell and to continue to follow your progression, i watch your vids for many years and i still will!

I can relate to you in the sense that life can change fast. Tonight when I came home from class I was notified that a family friend of ours had taken his own life. I never really talked to this person that often, but it really showed me that you never know what people go through, and that life can change at any second. So sad.

However, not for one second do I wish my life was less busy, because one day I will be old and unable to do all these amazing things like playing drums, football, soccer, acting, and I won't be able to ever go back to school and redo my advanced classes. So just enjoy what you have and see it through, cause in the end you're gonna be happy that you did all the amazing things you do!

its just growing up man. you live in a fantasy world. you wake up, play some games, make a video, get some cash ( i make it sound so easy, i know you work hard). you had this nice safety zone. now that you are venturing out of it, seeking independence. you will find that things move fast. but anything new seems fast, im sure you felt the same way your first shift at mcdonalds. im sure you felt that way the first time you drove a car. but when you gain experience with things, they slow down. its all comfort. its just like listening to a new rap song, once you learn the words, the song doesn't seem so fast.
It's so true sometimes you just got to step back and look at things in a different way and realise how life goes so fast.
So I just graduated my junior year in high school and I've been thinking a lot about this stuff as well like next year in going to be going to collage. Had the same thoughts the other day when my little sister graduated from High School. I saw my old friends there that I graduated with 4 years ago and used to talk to everyday. We talked about how fast time has gone by and how we all went our separate ways, it really is crazy how unaware of time we are while we're young.

Hey Nade, I know how you were talking about how things happen so quickly. Well in October 2014 one day I was in college and I woke up the next day not feeling well, I went to the hospital and I got diagnosed with stage 4 Hopkins lymphoma cancer. I'm still fighting my cancer and hopefully one day I'll get to go back to college.

I still live at home, and I am unemployed. However, this is not by choice. I stay at home to help take care of my parents. I know it is the right thing to do, but its one of those things that you wont make money from it, you wont be living on your own, and etc. I now find myself thinking how my life will be in the future, but instead of optimism I am filled with worry and doubt. How will I find a job in the future when my only credentials are college grad and helped take care of my parents. I worry if I will be homeless. What all this means is life has a way of taking unexpected turns, and people should appreciate what they have. Because there is no guarantee it will be the same tomorrow. I think back to 2011 when I was 11/12 years old grinding MW3 with my friends and how much of a great time we had. It's hard to believe that that was 4 years ago. That may not seem like a long time but it feels like it was just yesterday. I think about stuff like this all the time and think about what it's going to be like when I'm your age. Most people won't understand how you are thinking, it's not normal to have a mind like that and have those thoughts. What is normal nowadays is being on the phone 8 hours a day, even passively while you do something else.

One thing that has always blown my mind is how you can be having an amazing day 1 moment and literally the next in an instant it can just go to the worst. I feel you nade, throughout highschool I've been such a homebody I play video games, I depend on my parents, when I get sick my mom takes care of me. Now I'm enlisted in the us army with my ship date scheduled and RANGER school in my contract. It's so surreal. It feels like just yesterday it was just a dream.

I've been the burger flipper, and now I'm a rent-a-cop (armed security officer for those who don't know). I graduate HS in 2000 and have been on my own for 15 years. Never thought I would be here back when I was your age. I still work towards fulfilling a dream of mine about being a professional games. Not to make fun of my age but I started gaming on the Atari before the first Nintendo ever came out. To bad life is so short I could have done so much more in my life. Oh well, maybe in the next one. I'm not as old as you nade, but I remember sleeping over at one of my best friend's house for the first time during the 4th grade, and I remember we stayed up until 2 am playing Pokemon platinum version and Halo 3. It was one of the most fun couple of days I can remember. Now I'm going to be in the 10th grade next year and it seems so crazy how long it's been since then.
