This came together so nicely and orange and blue are definitely some of my favorites you don't really see them used together for Thanksgiving so I like to the fresh take you gave it.
Erica! It turned out beautiful! I love how you emphasized that trying new things doesn't always turn out the way you want but it's great to stretch yourself. And, Monty was so chill while shopping. What a dream baby!
Thanks so much, Allison! I do think it's important to try new things! Yes, Monty is overall really chill and happy (most of the time!) I feel pretty lucky!
I love that you made this Thanksgiving special by getting creative and thinking about family by creating a beautiful table space. Even if there are people who could not share with you this year, you kept them in your mind and heart by making a beautiful table, and getting extra for times when you could share a meal with them. You have such a beautiful heart, and it was a nice way to keep people you love close, even if just in your heart.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words! Yes, it was a different kind of year this year, but I really enjoyed decorating a special Thanksgiving table.
I had a terrible day. But the moment I see your uploading new videos, I clap my hands in joy! Thank you for the positivity you always bring to the table.
@8:30 I found some gorgeous plates in yellow. I would have bought those for me! i'm also gonna be looking for one amber goblets in the future and also maybe green.
Bravo! You did an excellent job curating your pieces for a very festive tablescape! Love the turquoise blue and orange combo. Lovely for fall! Love your channel and videos. Your little one is such a little cutie too! Have fun shopping for Christmas now! Happy Holidays to you and yours. :-)
I think you did an awesome job! One thing I have seen that I really like if you cannot find enough of one kind of say plate is to use half of one kind and half of another so every other plate setting is the same. As long as there is something to pull it all together it can really look awesome. I see you decided to do that with those beautiful blue glasses. One thing about thrifting is that you have the best luck if you plan way ahead and slowly accumulate things over time. On the tea dyeing.............the kind of tea you use can change the color. Also the more tea you use the darker the color will be. The type of fabric can also determine what you end up with..............natural fibers are really the best for dyeing. I have seen you sew on your channel before so another thought is to buy something large and cut it up for the napkins or placemats............like a large tablecloth, old curtains. The thrift stores are full of wonderful fibers in those linen and bedding bins that can be cut up and made into all sorts of wonderful things. Sewing and quilting are two hobbies I have been doing for years so when I thrift I am always looking back where they have random stuff because you never know what you will find that you can make something out of. I even buy oversized clothes and cut them up to resew into totally new things if I just love the fabric...........you could also make napkins and stuff as well. Just think outside the box. There will only be 3 of us this year and it is going to be pretty casual so I am just going to dig out what I have and go from there.............you setting has kinda inspired me to maybe try to pull out a few fun things to fancy up the table a bit.
Hey! I thought your tablescape turned out great. You showed creativity in using what you could find and it was festive and pretty. I liked the color combination. It just takes time to build a collection by thrifting. I'm glad you stuck to your guns and didn't go to Target. Anybody can do that. Just keep collecting, you'll get there but great start.
Thanks so much!! We got our chairs for a steal of a deal on Offer Up, but you can find them new at www.houzz.com/products/baxton-studio-sonore-solid-wood-accent-chair-dining-chair-set-of-2-prvw-vr~123275501
It takes sooooo long to find stuff thrifting. I thrift about 2-3 times a month. Keep at it, but you will most likely build slowly and it will be mix and match which is fun as long as it coordinates!
Thanks! It was actually originally just going to be an IGTV video (which is why I filmed it in portrait), but then I decided to release on TH-cam, as well. It was also kind of a last minute idea, and it was quicker to film vertically on my iphone without my whole tripod/camera set-up.
OMG. Thank you for being like the ONE creator who didn't skip thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas 😍 the table looks great!
Haha thanks so much!! 💕
The end result was adorable 😍 love that you didn’t give up and the end result showed that determination!🤩🤩🤩
Just an FYI. Knives go on right side of plate with sharp edge facing in and fork on left side of plate ❤️
Thanks for the tip! I appreciate it!

Thank you so much! It's one of my favorite color combinations, but this was my first time using it for Thanksgiving!
It turned out so cute. I love how you did a blorange theme !
Thanks so much! Blorange is my favorite!
It looks so cute, with the blue glasses and the orange flowers ✨
Thank you! 😊🧡
I love the blush napkins! They work with the tablescaping.

Love your style and all of your videos! I actually live in SF too :) do you have any favorite SF thrift stores for home stuff? I'd love to know!!
Thanks so much! That's awesome that you live in SF too! I think my favorite store for home decor is the Salvation Army on Geary.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Why did you reverse the fork and knife placement?
It was just an oversight, actually!
Everything turned out wonderful, AND you pulled it off in a snap! The blorange really pops against the cozy, dark walls. #GiveThanks
Thank you so much!! It was a fun challenge to get it together kind of last minute! 🧡💙

Am I the only one wondering why this is recorded in portrait?😅 Nice video thou, just wondering why its not landscape..😅✌️
