I feel like escape the backrooms is hindered because it only has a single developer while apeirophobia is hindered because it's running on roblox studio
to be fair its way easier to use than things like unity or gamemaker studio/godot i gave up on trying to use unity and gamemaker reminder that tf2 runs on lua and so does every other valve game i believe
Escape the backrooms is a game on steam and yes, the game does look like a better game from a short view. But it's a game on steam. Roblox game for backrooms looks amazing too. I like Apeirophobia because it gets really deep in with the jumpscares. I would say that apeirophobia is more impressive. And also has less amount of bugs and better animations. The graphics are insane. But afterall it's a Roblox game made on Roblox studio. And I gotta give Apeirophobia the respect. It needs an oscar. I like both of the games. But Roblox is a game made for lego brick games. And there is a game for free even better than 70% of steam games. Trust me. Apeirophobia wins for me.

i still think escape the backrooms is superior imo, the inventory, the amount of levels and sublevels, playing that game is some of the most fun i have ever had in gaming, especially considering the massive new update. Apeirophobia however is beautiful in its own way, its a roblox game and it excells immensly due to that, so while i do prefer ETB as a game, apeirophobia is definetly more impressive bc of the limitations of roblox studio.
Honestly the jumpscare in ETB is somewhat lacking for me, it IS suppose to be a horror game, and it just seemed like they jumped on you and pulled a prank... Not at all "scaring" if Im being honest. But the graphics quality is definitely better tho.

Escape the Backrooms definitely takes the win for me. I will say Apeirophobia has better animations and jumpscares but Escape the Backrooms has better graphics, more interesting game mechanics and features and is a more well rounded game. Obviously there are different reasons for both games having such limitations but both are great overall, I just prefer Escape the Backrooms more.

As someone who has beaten Apeirophobia in Nightmare mode, and beaten ETB repeatedly. ETB is a lot scarier, and a lot funnier. It can be Lethal company levels of funny at times.

As someone who has beaten Apeirophobia in Nightmare mode, and beaten ETB repeatedly.
ETB is a lot scarier, and a lot funnier. It can be Lethal company levels of funny at times.
true but etb was made by a single person and Appeirophobia is made by a big team of people and that with the new roblox mechanics you can make a realistic horror game easily
