In the milling part of the video, you mentioned you were cutting them at 1 inch. But in the silhouette studio part you mentioned the stripes were 1.5 x 36 inches with is larger than the before mentioned stripe size.

      Nice man! It’s great practice!
And that’s way too deep but I went .25” on my first flag so I got you beat haha.
I like to go 0.04”. Just a shallow enough for my stripes to get rid of the stain.

Coming to your latest video to ask you a question since you have been so informative about the carbide create software...I surfaced some wood but I want to do 1 more pass cuz it didn't go quite deep enough with my first config. When I set the 'Start Depth' and the 'Max Depth' to the same value (because I only want it to do a single pass) my toolpath has the warning "Empty Toolpath" instead of a time estimation. If I set my start to 0.03" and max to 0.031" it is no longer an empty toolpath and my time estimation comes back....what am I missing here? If I want to take off a single pass at 0.03" wouldn't I want these 2 values to be equal?

      Hi Making Awesome,
Hopefully you got it figured out, sometimes it’s just messing with the values but if you’re still needing help, hope this response gets you the help you need.
When you need to carve again to get some more material, I would leave my starting depth the same and its increase my max depth. You’ll cut air until you get to the material and then it’ll cut the next bit of material away. But I think this is the safest way to not mess anything up.
I think you’re getting the Empty Toolpath because you’re technically not carving anything if you’re start depth and max depth are the same.
