Today I’m reading Chapter 4 from the first book in the series, The Numbers: Get in Order! Originally, each chapter within the book was intended to be a book by itself, aimed at younger children, until I decided to expand and upscale each story before putting them together (in order, of course) and creating The Numbers: Get in Order!
What happens to a three-legged chair? It falls over, as it needs more support! 4 looked a natural as I originally designed her with her arms in the air as if she was about to hold something up! Apart from helping to balance three-legged chairs, the Numbers also needed a supportive and caring number to listen to, and help them with their problems. 4 was also a natural at doing this, and that’s why she became the next number to count on!
