I love this tutorial! it's not super slow & you're not repeating all words. it's straight to the point! I also like the written pattern in the corner for people who are able to work ahead.
I hope I’m not being a bother repeatedly stopping this video. I’m learning to make the granny square for the first time in 30 yrs. The lady who taught me to crochet passed away then. I think I’m getting. Appreciate your patience and precision.
I’m not even a beginner. I just wanted to learn a new granny stitch. And you are by far the best tutorialist I’ve seen. You explain things exactly how they are. You show the exact stitch you’re going in and this has been the quickest tutorial video from me not know how to do this to knowing it off by heart. And even then this granny square is so appealing. I will definitely be coming back to your channel in the future. Xxx ❤
I love your teaching style! And then you put the next steps on the screen for us- so helpful. Thank you for not wasting any time at beginning of the video and getting right into the pattern. ❤❤❤ I will be back for more of your videos.
Usually when I look at crochet videos they are old. Caught my attention with this one less than 24hrs many of us all at once decided we needed this square.
Just what I was looking for! I am making an Afghan for my husband and needed some things solid and simple to set off the other squares with fancier motifs. Didn’t have to look very hard. Very easy to follow. Thank you.
No way.. im a begginer crotheter and i was going to create my own granny square by myself but it kept messing up, but then i saw this tutorial and YOU SAVED MY LIFE! its super easy, straight forward, and she talks slow enough for me to process the information. thank you! i will be using this tutorial for every solid granny square i make❤❤
This is a great square to mix in with traditional and more decorative squares to highlight the motifs! Of course, I finished my daughter's crocheted dress two days ago. 😆 There's always next time.
Hey, i watched first time feels v v good , well explained. Thanks , i will next time do while watching it... I recently got a craving of crochet and I have purchased brand new crochet hooks and the wool and I am super excited to do this❤ very much thank you lots of love will also check out your videos too❤
My stitch count is accurate but is starting to get that wobbly look. My tension is good so what am I doing wrong? Using #4 medium yarn/5.00 mm hook. I have try different versions of this pattern and still the same results. Please help😢

I’m a beginner and this is insanely fast. I tried slowing it down but it wasn’t helpful. Maybe I’ll come back after I try some other videos but lawd this is too fast for a beginner!
I love your no-nonsense tutorials. No life stories no extra this n that, just the stitches. SO PRO!
Basildraw thank you so much. I try to keep it simple❤️
I AGREE 😊❤
@@LittlejohnsYarn but I do also love the extra chit chat on the live streams too. :)
Live streams are my favorite. Is the only time we get to know each other❤️
I so agree! To the point and easy to understand.🧶No faffing about an impending divorce or the cat's digestive issues like we see in other videos 🙄😆

Thank you 🧶🧶
You’re welcome ☺️
Like this pattern. What size hook is used?
Looks like a 6mm
I used a 5 mm hook
@@beckywill46 thank you 🧶
"for beginners" at lightning speed :-(
Slow the video down in the settings if it's too fast

ended up with a pentagon shape
Sounds like you added an extra corner on the first round
SO, THE TREBLE IS THE CORNER?
The treble is the point of the corner. And you’ll always place (2 double Crochet, Treble, 2 double crochet) into that Treble corner stitch
@@LittlejohnsYarn I LOVE IT! THANK YOU 🙏🏼😊
You’re welcome
this is not for beginners
Naw this is so fast
I’m sorry but you went to fast for me I did the square but the video was too fast
so fast!!!!
My daughter does not like this tutorial, you stressed her out and she Said you were going too fast. Please be slower next time!😊 0:00
Just slow down the speed then it will be slower😅
@ thanks.
