A diamond helmet has 363 durability You are probably confusing diamond tools and armor, diamond tools have 1561 durability. Unbreaking 3 on average makes an item last 4 times as much So normally it can last 1452 durability. But wait there is more: When ur hit by something The hit damage is divided by 4 and rounded to lowest for a minimum of 1. So a fist will cause 1 dura lost to armor. A sword with 8 attack damage will cause ur armor to take 2 dura per hit. Assuming the sword they had is between 10 to 11.75, Speed lost 2 dura per hit. This reduces our 1453 to 726.5 In average, speed needed to be hit 726.5 times to have his exodus broken
