I miss the internet of the late 90s and 2000s. some metrics always existed but not to a point where the average person is worried about "engagement" the internet as it is now stiffles creativity

Your info is already out there, and has been for a while. Get used to it. Tech companies are about getting product out as fast as possible, to keep up with competitors. This leads to cutting corners, and security vulnerabilities. Hackers are about finding those vulnerabilities and exploiting them. They can never ever be stopped, only slowed down.

They probably knew about the vulnerability. They was probably using it too. Samething with your st. cameras. Are the isp’s going to send out notices? Am I safe whats spying in this context, what did they get?
I worked there about 12 yrs ago and nothing there was normal. The entire place was chaotic. I think it was being “taken over” at that time. It got bought up by a large ISP with a friendly face. I have a social media presence that is completely shadow banned.
