Hi rapid sheild is comming in from the states if you go to germany theres a uv manufacturing company called alberdingk boley they will sell you the resin a lot cheaper and have far far better reputation than the product your using. About 12 years ago we welded a trolly up and put a hand held uv curing machine on it from Jelight in LA because we found doing walkways and 4 inch lines in factorys, that the wheels on the wharehouse floors where tracking dirt on the new cure ill send a link. It was done with a piano mover. Hope this helps. Fanstastic work by the way. Also pull your tape before you cure you want to cure a rounded edge not a sharp edge. It wont run its too thin other wise your tearing the uv cured binders.

Thank you so much for the detailed and insightful message! It’s interesting to hear about Alberdingk Boley in Germany. I hadn’t considered sourcing resin directly from them, but it makes sense if they offer a higher-quality product at a lower cost. I’ll definitely look into it-thank you for pointing me in that direction!
I love the creativity behind welding a trolley with a handheld UV curing machine. That’s a smart workaround, especially for walkways and narrow 4-inch lines where wheels tracking dirt could be a major issue. I know we've seen that many times and it super frustrating when you've just installed it!
We got the Gen 4 from decorad and it's pretty good, buut the wheel can definitely be a bugger for leaving dirt
If you have any images of your set up it'd be great to see it.
Good point also on the tape, I hadn't really considered that so will definitely pull it first next time before curing it. If you’ve got more advice or examples of setups like the one you’ve described, I’d love to see them. Thanks again for the kind words and encouragement-it means a lot! Alex
