Thank you for highlighting these two NA West legends. I've always considered them the most dominant players in Fortnite since they practically owned their region and were unstoppable. Them winning every FNCS was practically expected by top players
@@ryanechelberger7035 Its definitely an easier region than na east or europe, but Reet and EpikWhale are still top competitors in Central so it shows that they aren't just going to get swept by other regions. Also Edgey and Cented moved from West to East a while back and were consistently placing top 5 and top 3 in FNCS grands. It definitely is an easier region, but saying that a top east team could just move over and "easily win" is short sighted

Watching this video doesn't just give a brilliant understanding od the sheet domination of a handful of plsyers over one region, but it also mskes me remember just how fucking amazing C2S8 was. Maybe you could cover it in a similar way to how you did with the C2S6 FNCS? It would probably have to be separated into several different videos due to how much content there is, but FNCS was insane in C2S8. Of course, Epik, Arkhram, and Rehx being dethroned and immediately splitting with Rehx, picking up Reet to win again. NAE had the amazing rivalry of Mero and Bugha vs Deyy and Jamper in both the first FNCS of the season and the grand royale, multiple ex teammates clashing for the title of number one. EU had the complete and utter dominance of Kami, Setty, and Teeq in the first FNCS before the crazy race for first in Grand Royale, eventually going to Tayson, Hen, and Chapix. FNCS was absolutely brilliant from all top teams both times around in C2S8. The same season that saw dominance rise also saw it fall a few weeks away. New kings being knighted with the axe of champions, players proving they can defy the odds and succeed no matter how much others put them down, the classics trying something new and running away with a championship. This season had so much and it was absolutely amazing, especially for comp. Gets way too much hate
We are def planning more depth on each, our bugha video spends a lot of time on the nae tourney and our Kami and setty one spends a lot of time with eu! Maybe check those out!

Bugha's threepeat and Kami, Setty, and Teeq's story of coming so close, yet so far to finally getting that big win with crazy amounts of dominance is just inspiring to see. And those aren't the only storylines either. People often forget the teams outside of the top three or so on the leaderboard, and with C2S8 specifically, I never see anyone speak about anyone below first in any of the three big regions at the time except West. I do have to admit that I have been very guilty of it in the past myself, but it sucks to see so many players who popped off just not get much attention. For instance, I haven't heard anyone talk about Tragix at all since chapter 2 ended. If he retired, it got so little publicity to where I haven't seen anything about it
What also helped them the most not to doubt their skills was that they owned the na-west t1 scrims and im not quite sure but were known to kick anyone out of the t1 scrims if they dropped on them.
