I think that we can agree that even this friendly spar shows just how extreme these two are. There is no chance that either of them would have been able to be defeated one-on-one during the Final Clash. Even when being teamed up they were still utter forces of nature that could have probably beaten each of the Worst Generation into oblivion had they not let each other handle them whenever they were being focused on, minus the times that they helped each other out when it was necessary. I like how that shows that they have a history together as they both have full confidence that the other can take care of things themself but can also fully recognize when they are actually being put on the back foot for once, probably in large part due to the multiple group fights that occurred back in God Valley, even if to an ultimately much less bombastic extent.

To be fair, kid and law are still very very strong, yet it took the combined power of both of them to take down Big Mom, and she still was going to get up from Kid’s Damned punk spam in until law made her unable to use any sound, effectively nullifying her counter attack, and law was ambushed by Blackbeard, Blackbeard also is very strong don’t underestimate him, he literally has whitebeards power now, he’s just kind of a coward. kid lost to shanks because well it’s shanks and he had no way to dodge or block at all, kid may have even survived somehow we don’t know. We just know his durability is ridiculous.

Kaido had to kill luffy twice which took energy and haki and then luffy awakened gear 5 and beat weakened kaido. Kaido wasn't even using conqueror haki against luffy gear 5 read the manga again. If kaido was at full stamina he would have toyed with luffy
